How's the Playseat with the G25 pedals? I'm getting the new Porsche wheel soon and am a little concerned about how the central post for the wheel will get in the way of left foot braking with a 3 pedal setup.

Any advice?..................Thanks

Pepsi,
The playseat with the bracket to hold the gearshift was about £270. I considered building a seat set-up but figured with all the tools and materials it wouldn't have saved me much money. And of course the playseat looks pretty good. I would definately recommend one. It has fixings in all the right places for the G25 so it's more sturdy than expected. The wheel stand & pedal mount comes with it.

Jonboy,
The post really does get in the way but i'm used to it now. I play for sometimes an hour at a time and have never had a sore leg yet. It is possible to shift the pedals to the left on the metal bracket but havent tried this as yet. It would be so much easier if there a switch that swapped the clutch and brake pedals. P.S. Looks real sweet in white!

Thanks for that, looks nice in black too, and a hell of a lot more practical, I think next doors cat spends more time in my seat than me, it lets itself in at night and dosses down on my playseat so I'm always cleaning stains off of the damn thing LOL

Yes, I could understand why the cat is a problem, you'd better be careful because you could come in one day with a pleasant suprise on your seat. Let's not go there...
But I guess a black seat would be even worse because you wouldn't be able to see it.

And doctor wilson thanks for the reply...so it's actually much cheaper than I expected. Which is practcially making it pretty much essential, but i don't know yet

Mine cost £200, I got a discount as I bought it direct from the TGRAV guys who were selling seats at Brands Hatch during the A1GP Final in 2007.

My Missus actually said the other day that she thought it was one of the best £200 we'd spent as I actuyally use it a lot and get more than my money's worth.

That's simply a bargain for such a high quality chair like that. The biggest question though: is it comfortable?

is it comfortable?

Yes definately, I've done well over 40,000 virtual miles in my seat playing Forza2 add that to the time I spent in it playing ToCA Race Driver 3, GT5P, Ferrari Challenge, it's also stood up well to my 7 year old son playing PS2 games in it as well as PGR3 & Halo3 and next doors cat sleeping in it and it still feels good as new (If a little stained LOL)

My only critisism is that it doesn't breath very well so after a long spell of racing expect a sweaty back.
