I was bored, so I timed my character (after ambulance missions) for a one mile run on the Francis International Runway. It turns out that this guy can run a mile in 2 minutes and 53 seconds! I also noticed that the garage in Francis International containing the Dodo and fuel tanks isn't located in Francis International - above the entrance it says Liberty International. Ughh - I can't believe I waste time on this... anyone else know some strange little bits of GTA3?

Uh I don't know if this counts but my guy has run over 100 miles since I have started the game. I think that is a bunch of running. I walk/run more than I drive actually. :)

I drove through it, can't be bothered to wait for the train. ;)

 Exactly. Sometimes I take a truck or something down there and park it to where it covers both tracks. Then wait for the train to come along and bash into it. :D

Did you do this with or without him stopping and taking breather brakes? If you didn't already know, you can continuously tap the X button, instead of holding it down, and he will run forever, and won't stop to take breaths.

This was after the ambulance mission, so my guy can run forever. I just held down the x button and ran continuously.

Ah-ha, I was wondering why you added that it was after the ambulance missions in your first post...:nervous::D I didn't know that after you did those, you could run forever...:)

Do you know how many ambulance missions there are? I'd like to know because I really wanna do them so I can just hold down X, and not tap the thing every 2 seconds...

After 50 you get health power-ups at your hideout and after 100 you get the adrenaline pill, I think its after 100 when you get the infinite run.

ok, all i know is that getting to level 12 (as well as being bloody boring) gets you unlimited sprint, adrenaline and health. It can all be done in one city.

100 Taxi missions gets you the borgnine taxi parked in portland (its not great though)

20 vigilate missions on each level gets you 6 cop bribes.

30 fires (i think but im not sure - might be 25) on each level gets you flamethrower.
