I wanted to run an idea past everyone to see what you all thought of it. This project, if implemented will take time and effort, but the end result may be one of the best things to ever hit the GTSpeed community.
The current (almost non-existant) format of the Settings Foundry is, needless to say, not the most user-friendly thing in the world. Here's what I'm proposing:
A new, automated, database-driven Settings Foundry. In this system, you would first create a Settings Foundry account at GTSpeed. Then, you'd be able to log into your account and add settings for any of the cars through a point-click interface. This interface would first ask you to enter what parts you have installed on the car for this settings package. Then, it would require you to enter the settings you used for each section.
Then, everyone else would be able to view your settings, as well as the settings of others. This way, finding settings for a particular car would be as easy as finding that car in the database, and clicking "Settings Foundry" on the car's main view screen.
What do you all think?
