Why can't Webber seem to finish a race?

What is going on at Jaguar? With Ford as the parent company they should be at least able to run on a par with this season's BAR.

Okay, how's this for a conspiracy theory? The Jaguar team don't like Aussies, so they "make repairs" to the car in the Witching Hours of the morning when everybody's having a nice snooze, which makes the car go like a shot for qualifying, but stuff up in the middle of a race. If Pizzonia and Webber swapped cars, they'd make Pizzonia's car go like a shot and Webber's go like a hunk of junk.

This green lot are p***ing me off. :grumpy:

Somehow I don't think Ford would invest all those $millions into a race team only to scupper half their effort by sabotaging their lead driver. Let's face it the Jaguar team has proved to be uncompetitive and unreliable in each of it's three previous seasons. At least Webber's car is competitive.

And don't forget precisely which team rescued Webber from a second season of driving a Minardi. I don't think he'd be running so well in one of the black cars.

Yes, I think there's some national pride being dented here. Mark Webber is fast becoming the saviour of the Jaguar F1 team, so I don't think they'd deliberately sabotage their car.

Oh, and Sandstorm: mind your language please!

Well, as Webber said during the race, you'd rather be making a quick car reliable than a slow car fast - but still, there's been a whole list of problems, and it seems to be different problems at different events.

That's true. I'm just a bit frustrated, that's all. At least he's not still with the Black Team.

Bugger. :(

National pride, for sure. If he could only finish a race...

I s'pose... at least Webber's competitive. Stick him in a more reliable car and watch him blow the competition away. ;)
