Is there an existing thread for this? Not sure if there is but thought it would be cool to have a place to show off our custom skins.
Got bored today so I've been working on this:

And the real thing for reference, not exactly the same car...but whatever! I love that APR livery!

As soon as the skin is completed I'll be uploading it and sharing it with whoever is interested.

Nice work. I would love to do some of these. I have the templates but it would be too awkward testing them out as I'm on PS4. I might try one this week. The Murphy Prototypes LMP2 interests me.

It's coming along nicely, just a couple of changes and corrections here and there, the contingency decals, a couple of logos to find and the most difficult so far will be to find the right font for the numbers...

Is there a basic step by step tutorial somewhere? I'm not familiar with GIMP or Photoshop so it would have to be grade 2 level instructions for me

Ok I tried doing one but the brush tool wasn't ideal, any tips for quick colouring and how to differentiate matte/gloss paints?

Sadly no custom liveries on ps4... Maybe SMS can add some skins made by userbase in time? Did they say anything about that?

You should definitely use vector shapes for coloring.

No. Pen tool, make a path, then make a vector shape from it. That way you can still modify the shape easily by moving anchor points later and you can easily swap the colors. Its all really easy, just google photoshop vector shapes, there are lots of good turorials and you will use it swiftly in no time.
