Easily one of, if not the most controversial bands in Rock n' Roll history. So, lets discuss them past and present and I'll start by saying that I actually really like the material from Chinese Democracy, I didn't at first and then I gave it a second listen, I mean a proper listen and it's quite evident songs on there such as 'If The World' and 'There Was A Time' are about the old line-up with Slash, Izzy, Duff and Adler.

I don't think that Guns have lost their edge, sure Axl acts like a **** at times and he's the only original member but it still carries that feel of Guns n' Roses that not even Slash and Myles Kennedy can replicate and this is coming from a die-hard Slash fan. I'll continue my opinions later and give you all a chance to voice your opinion on them.

Love the band, but I was over them by the 90's. My favorite t-shirt is Appetite for Destruction, and I still consider Sweet Child O' Mine one of the best songs from the 80's, but that's about it for me.

Old was excellent, new stuff is eww.

To be honest, I actually liked Chinese Democracy. I didn't look at it as a Guns N' Roses album, I saw it as an Axl Rose album. I admit, it isn't exactly highly consistent, but there are some good songs. The album is still in my playlists. Though I think the song, Scraped isn't an enjoyable song for cats, as when we played it through the stereo the cats looked terrified.

The only song I liked of Chinese Democracy was that one they put on Rock Band 2 and even that was blah over thier old stuff.
