How have they "saved your ass" any better than the regular sport brake kit?

What do you even mean by saved your ass... like, you hit your braking point? Something you should be doing regardless of the brakes on the car.

TBH, not even sure, all I know is with ceramic/rp's it just feels a lot tighter when I hit corners/curves at high R's.. probably just me, but that's just the way it goes..

carbon ceramics don't do anything over slotted/drilled in GT7 except waste credits
Don't the carbon ceramics not need the additional brake pads, so they effectively cost the same and do the same?

The pads are in the calipers
I didn't talk about real life, I talked about the game

I think when I tested it, just getting the carbon brakes without pads gave the same PP as the drilled/slotted discs with brake pads and the brake pads didn't add PP to the carbon brakes.

I'll hazard a guess from the linked video and say you don't know what you're talking about. You drive with every driving aid and are all over the place.

OMG That is so hard to watch! 🙈
My cat can drive better than that 🤣
Why is the OP even using the suggested racing line if he is totally ignoring it anyway? 🤷‍♂️😂😂😂

Points well taken.. i'll admit, I still got a LOT of work to do (obviously).. unfortunately I wish I had just a bit more time to race and re-learn where I left off in GT5 about a decade or so ago.. LoL.. I know i'm nowhere near the level of you "Pro's" , all I was attempting was to give my opinion on the CC/RP combo, which IMO i'll still stand by, it's nice.. & as far as the driving aids go, well, I guess that's something else i'm going to have to re-learn, cuz really, that line going down the track is most annoying.. I just gotta figure how to turn all that **** off.. I've been so impressed with the graphics and play, that all I wanna really do is get behind the wheel.. So please understand, if i'm not up to your standards, my apologies.. I've had the game for just over a month now, and do bet I will figure this out..

Pause the game, go to assists, and turn on/off anything you like.

Don't pay attention to those who think you have to drive with everything off btw. Yeah, it's arguably better, and personally I prefer it, but drive to your own skill level and enjoy it. Can always turn them off as your experience grows. People would turn the game off immediately if it was totally impenetrable, and this gatekeeping doesn't really help.

Carbon Brakes would be better for constant applications with in a small time frame as they don't/should not suffer from brake fade like the regular slotted/drilled brakes do.
Since they're in the extreme section I'm wondering if they're categorised with drifting in mind (based on the need to fettle ane balance the brake and accelerator to rack up the points). 🤔

Wet weather tires are also here don't forget.
