In a few weeks Ireland is going to vote yes or no to this purposed European Unity Treaty. I'm starting this thread because I believe no other Europeans have the ability to vote on this, only Ireland; something to do with our consitution.
The changes it will make are very unclear and the media or government dont seem to be able to clarify it. In fact I heard a Government spokes person say something like: just trust it, vote yes. Now that didnt fill me with confidence! And the people involved in agriculture here are considering voting no if the WTO trade negotiations go ahead as expected next month.
So I'm just not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing, I want to hear the views from other Europeans who wont have the chance to vote and other people from around the world can share there views on it, and the EU in general.
