No, but at least Liverpool are more consistant than last season, when was the last time you saw someone win the Champions League and loose to Crystal Palace?

Mother****ers.

And that wasnt a goal, fooking lanckey moron. And he had the nerve to send off Bowyer? but not Crouch and/or Finnan who quite clearly sparked off the fight by simmultaneously pushing Bowyer over.

Ridiculous. How could the linesman give it a goal when Given, Bramble and the goalpost where in the way and he wasnt even parralell with it.

Bull**** my friends.

To be honest, Newcastle never looked like winning though. liverpool pretty much dominated the midfield for most of the match and even that useless Aussie ****e managed to put in some decent crosses. Also owen and Shearer had sod all support.

It's a shame though, because on paper Newcastle have a pretty good team. Well apart from Faye, god knows what souness saw in him at pompey. I mean he was pretty much a mediocre squad player at pompey as well. Also I think it's just Bowyers reputation that got him sent off, although that tackle was pretty crappy as well.

It was a bad tackle but Crouch and/or Finnan had to go as well.

And Newcastle didnt look like a winning team, but 1-0 is better than 2-0, to me thats 1-0 because that ball never went over the line. It has to fully go over the line and it wasnt.

Bowyer should have got a yellow all he did was a bad tackle that wasn't that bad. Crouch and Gerrad both should have got reds, Crouch for raising his arns and Gerrard for putting his head to Bowyers. Rooney got a red fo simply moving his head agresively towards a player, the refereeing today was shocking.

The second goal was a goal, the ball was just, just over.

it was definetly over the line, and it never touched givenafter it hit the post!, but you were pathetic to be honest! and you gotta admit gerrard and crouch's link up and then his goal was PURE class, i just hope we beat everton tonight! COME ONY OU REDMEN! SHOW THOSE BLUENOSES WHAT BEING THE PRIDE OF MERSEYSIDE IS ALL ABOUT! ill post here @ half time to remark on the score!

For a start there was a smidgen of the ball not over the line, and how you can say that didnt hit Given is beyond me!If it didnt hit Given, it would have come back off the post.

Calm yourself Ashley....

it hit the groun and the post at exactly the same time, creating a spin effect, you can see the ball spinning on the groun, if it hit given, it would have stopped spinning, but i went to the west brom game yesterday, and crouchinio scored again!

Xabi Alonso SCORES TWICE! HIS SHORTEST GOAL (38 yards out) heheheh and his longest goal 70 YARDS OUT! OMG! WHAT A PLAYER! DEFINETE FUTURE CAPTAIN OF SPAIN!

My god that was a sweet strike by Harry kewell, I knew he would get back to his form he had at Leed's one day...

By the way, I'm a Liverpool fan. :D

8 home games won in a row now, 1 point behind Man Utd with 2 games in hand. I just fear the fact we have played more games than anyone else in the league this season, (With us starting in July in the Champ. League and then the FA Cup run) we might run out of steam before the end...
:nervous:

Well I think we have a great chance, they have just hit a bad patch of form, we are 12 games unbeaten, I predict a 2-1 win to us.

Erm.... Thats a good question actually. I think its Anfield but I'm not 100% sure..

Meh all he was doing was keeping the bench warm, no major loss right there.

At Old Trafford? Hmmmm will be a close one then, prob end up a draw again...

1-1 Against Birmingham was a pathetic performance I thought.

Xabi Alonso, you prune! Silly own goal really. Shame that Fowler was offside in stoppage time..

You just got beat, 2-0. I'm happy cos it means you can't catch us on you game in hand now.
