The Logitech Driving Force EX.
It's spec reads just like a DFP's spec, but without the DFP Gearstick.
The most interesting thing about it though, is the price.
It's less than half the price of a DFP yet looks exactly like one. DF-EX offers the same buttons, paddles, clamping USB connections etc (Less the Gear Stick).
So.. The biggy questions are..
Does IT SUPPORT 900 Degrees of rotation?
Does it use the same FFB motors, steel bearings and inards as the DFP?

"LOS ANGELES May 17, 2005 Logitech (SWX: LOGN) (NASDAQ: LOGI), the world´s leading manufacturer of force feedback gaming wheels, today at the E3 Electronic Entertainment Exposition unveiled the Logitech® Driving Force EX wheel, a one-wheel-fits-all solution for the PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system. Logitech´s new wheel comes with two interface plugs: the standard PlayStation 2 controller plug, ensuring the wheel will work with any PlayStation 2 game; and a USB plug that allows the Logitech Driving Force EX wheel to deliver realistic force feedback."
So that's 2 connectors!! Could be lining it up to work on the Xbox 360 and new PS3.

So.. DF-EX appears to have similar FBB as DFP, but not 900 degrees of rotation.
Can anyone confirm if what this wheel's rotation settings are, and if like the DFP will it work on a PC?

CraigS from Augusta GA on Tue Nov 01 23:45:43 EST 2005My friend has the Logitech Driving Force pro steering wheel...I must say the 900 degree turning wheel is great. I just bought the EX and It feels just the same has the Pro edition. Feedback is nice and strong! Even if the wheel doesn't turn at 900 degrees it's still a great racing wheel and is a good buy if you don't won't to spend $150 on the Pro edition. Works great with GT4...even better if you use the racing wheel with the F1 car that you earn in the game. So, I give this steering wheel a A+
