The concept:
Most if not all of us have our 550, 600, 700 and, 800pp grind cars but we our stuck racing the AI. After time we get board. The thought is we take make them a weekend race series. One hour races based on the same race settings as those PD gave us on a rotation each weekend. Challenging our grind cars against others to see who has the best car.
Example of a race set up:
*700pp at Le Mans for one hour.
*Tire wear and fuel burn set to x6. Time set at x3. Wether is random.
*Only ABS and Traction Control will be allowed for assists.
*Tuning is of course open
*Only race tires will be available
Race times and hosting:
Ideally there would be at least one host per time zone. This structure would allow for these races to be more available to everyone without depriving anyone of sleep.
Races at say 6 and 8 pm to allow us to attend to our real world responsibilities.
Each host would run two races with a hour break between each. The game trys to kill as is, this is to keep it stress free. (Exhibition races may vary depending upon race run time)
List of hosts would be posted once that is sorted. Friend them before the race. PM me if hosting is something you would be interested in. Most have good hard line internet to host!
(Exhibition) Odd races in the event we have 5 Saturdays, Holiday or, mirror a real endurance race:
These would be (for example):
* 580pp "The Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion" 1989 and older vehicles. One hour races
* A multi class Daytona four hour. Gr.1, 800pp and 700pp cars to mix the field for a more realistic race and allow someone that may not be comfortable with a Gr.1 for four hours to also compete.
Tire and fuel will be set to x1 in these races. Again, these bonus races should be fun!
This is just an idea! There are not start dates or race times set. All that will still need worked out with hosts
