For me, it's Shaq Vs.
Shaq is hilarious, but puting him against athletes from other sports to attempt to make him look like a bafoon? =(

Jersey shore and it's spin offs. The real housewives shows. Both of them are completely stupid.

Anything on TLC.
Why?
Look at the line up, then remember it means The Learning Channel.

99% of SPEED Channel's (USA) lineup. SPEED's caption is "the motorsports authority", but most of the programming is 🤬 🤬 that has nothing whatsoever to do with motorsports, including a certain car customization show that will go unnamed. The bit of motorsports they do show is mainly Nascar related 🤬.

SPEED should be called "the automotive authority" rather than "the motorsports authority". Their shows aren't half bad, though.

99% of American television. Why do people enjoy dumb reality shows so much? They make no sense and do nothing but make people stupider.

I agree with pretty much everything mentioned so far. Everything on TLC and MTV is trash, but other than what was already mentioned, I gotta go with "Storage Wars" and all the other shows like that which are about random people buying random 🤬 and being dramatic about it.

Those shows are like "hey you just bought an old dresser and a bunch of clothes from a guy who couldn't pay his bills... super cool story bro".

SPEED has some good stuff, but 99% of it is indeed NASCAR. The other day I tuned in to see a rerun of a NASCAR race from 2 years ago... seriously, who watches NASCAR reruns?? Such a waste of a motorsport-related channel.

We as Americans are a very social people, who love gossip, lies, and secrets...scripted reality shows seem to add more fuel to the social media craze.

They are the only channel in the US that carries F1 when they are in season, so you can't complain about that. Besides, ask any automotive enthusiast in the US what the top racing league is in the world, and about 75% of them would say NASCAR. SPEED can not deny that kind of fan base to run reruns of F1 three times a week like they do the Sprint Cup.

Getting back on topic, I would have to say the Rachel Ray show. It is just exactly like Opara, but with cooking added(which I love, BTW), still doesn't make it any more relevant. Anderson Cooper is a close second.

I remember when Speed first started, they had racing on ALL THE TIME and they covered a lot, from WRC to Monster Trucks...a lot. But, alas...that is the fate of many a channel: start out with a single theme, and end up showing mostly crap. I mean, look at We and Oxygen. Those were SUPPOSED to be the "by women, for women" channels and 99% of what they show is softcore porn.

Well, UK residents are exposed to the trauma of Desperate Scousewives. Clearly a show that was created when someone came up with the name in a brainstorming session, without actually knowing what the show was going to be about.

Thanks to sharing my flat with females I have had the great misfortune of seeing pretty much everything reality TV has to offer, but Desperate Scousewives is the worst by a considerable margin.

What about American Dad and the Cleveland Show? American Dad is soooooo repetitive I stopped watching after I couldn't tell which episode I was watching. Yeah, you know you're too repetitive when your episodes start to run together. And did the Cleveland Show REALLY need to be born? I mean, It's just a "black" version of Family Guy and it isn't even that because Cleveland is voiced by a white guy and have you SEEN Seth McFarlen? (and didn't they keep the same voice actors?)

I think American Dad and Cleveland were trying to be to Family Guy what Futurama was to the Simpsons, except that....Futurama was designed pretty much erase the limits of what the writers could do and American Dad is just boringly repetitive and because I've seen Family Guy, I don't feel the need to see Cleveland Show. I have...but...they're the same show.

Prior to Futurama's revival on Comedy Central, when it was still airing on Fox, I would have agreed with you. Futurama was a nice piece of fresh air to Matt Groening's career as an animator and creator and the jokes were fresh for their time.

However, when the series was revived for cable TV, it morphed into South Park 2.0 and became very vulgar, the jokes were crude, and it unhinged audiences to a near carbon copy of the South Park movie would have been had it not been for the MPAA and their regulations.(For the record, the South Park movie still got a hard "R" regardless of the language and vulgarity that I may have draw reference to.)

Either you're six or you need to grow a pair and tell her no.

And if you're six I'm going to have to ban you.
