The new RX-7 Seasonal event (Tsukuba circuit)

It says any model RX-7, does this mean you can use the Amemiya RX-7? Its within the limits of the race (394bhp and 800kg)

I tried..... Sadly it did not allow it.
Maybe I had the car overpowered....I really should have paid more attention... I will check again this morning.
While on topic, I also tried a regular spec car, the Bathurst edition, built that up to 389bhp, took a heap of weight off......
Then proceeded to "slide" my way around for 10 laps...
Honestly, with those hard normal tyres, it was like a drift event for me...
I didn't place very well (7th) but had so much fun..👍

Try it and see? it obviously sounds like you want to use that car, so regardless it is a good purchase.

I bought it and it wasnt allowed, so I bought the Rx-7 off the dealership, done it up a bit and won the event on my first go! The car does this neat thing where one of the front tyres loses grip and the car can then go round the corner at a much faster pace than normal!

For wheel users, one thing that bought me time was switching to automatic transmission. In turns 1 and 5, where the car is right at the top of 2nd gear, I kept hitting the rev limiter because the wheels was turned basically 120 degrees and I couldn't shift, not safely anyway. Switching to auto takes care of that.
