i personally think this one's the most handsome CRX this side of the planet, but then again, i've never liked show cars...

The one I posted is Convertable with a fully molded body, it also has been shaved as well some other noticable things

I wouldn't really call this one handsome... it's more raw beauty to me...

It's not even all motor. There is a turbo. I have more respect for the All Motor Racers

I can't belive you don't like F/I cars more than N/A, but you like a fuggin' CRX with crushed velvet interior, 100+ spoke wire wheels, some crazy air brushed paint job, etc.:reallyodd

well that is the only convertable one I've ever seen.

I like drag ones just not ones with turbos on it. It's gotta be in the all motor class.

well, about 800hp out of a small 1.8l engine is quite impressive, and the build quality is handsome... you decide... 9 second timeslips, or show trophies... :P

Hey NOTa_streetracer780, you and Lebsta ought to hang out together. You should've asked us if it was the 'sickest' CRX ever.

And, hey, PR - what's the ET on that thing? It's verrry nicely done, but I'm not a big fan of tube-frame cars. There are unibody Neons in the nines (you knew I was going to say that)!

Bergenholtz's CRX isn't tube framed... it's still a unibody, with a custom fiberglass front end... 9.3x @15x mph, if i'm not mistaken

there are unibody Hondas in the 8s, too (2 of them, Rado's old Integra, Callos's new Integra also...)

they have the one piece fibreglass front end, but they're still unibody, because they retain the stock chassis

I stand corrected. I thought all of the fastest Hondas were at least partially tube framed. I'm more impressed than I was.

WHy would I hang out with Lebsta?

I don't post the car in every post. I jsut thought it was pretty cool being convertable. I'm not a huge fan of the LowRiders but I thought that car was nice. Why does everything I post get flamed?

Shut up! Aaaaaaaah!

We aren't flaming you, are we?

They do have roll cages as required by the rules so that will add alot of stiffness and integration to the chassis.
It may be unibody, but its not conceivably "stock".
On the issue of turbo cars vs n/a cars, there arent many that will run that kind of hp in a n/a car. Forcing things really helps the power. :haha:  One other thing is that they spray a shot of nitrous to get the turbo spooled for the launch. So now its not only forced induction, but sprayed too. Gotta love it.
Its all in what you like.
Oh, this is one time a Cavalier can beat a Honda (the one pictured above). hehe See the attachment.

not quite, Misnblue... not quite...

that's also a tube framed Cavalier, that was aimed directly at Stephan Papadakis's Civic Coupe... Steph's still the fastest (8.12) and the Cavvi's not too far behind, though... :D (8,69 i think)

still, that's pretty fast for a J-Body, even a tube framed one!

True, true, but what is a roll cage in that its attached to the frame to brace the entire unibody. ;)
No arguement man, your right.
I just had to put that in there for a little import/ domestic thing. :haha:
I love imports btw so dont get on my case. ;)

streetracer780, why do you take every post that disagrees with you as a flame? Maybe if you get past that, it won't seem like you're getting flamed all the time.

While we're posting our drag car pix, here's a lousy one of the world's quickest Neon. It's run a best 1320 of 9.07" @ 157mph:
neon.jpg

It doesn't even have a one-piece front end and is 100% unibody (no subframes, etc.) except for the rollcage which is mandatory for anybody running sub-12-second ETs. I don't have any current pix of the engine bay.

The fastest all-motor NA Neon is in the high 10's, also a full unibody car.
