The solo player seems so basic with just a few events. As a casual player who doesn't spend so much time online, Poly must be very clear about the offline section. Some people don't want to buy this GT because of the online aspect. At least, can we expect an event creator? Sounds, collisions are also big flaws in GT but the "small" SP is the biggest IMO.

The official GT website calls this "large scale offline content". I'm intrigued on what that means because this doesn't look large at all, judging from this screenshot. And while there are a large quanity of Mission Challenges, the website calls them short, which doesn't fill me with much hope.

It has a livery creator and a photo mode which now includes "Scapes" - those two features will keep some people busy. Personally I don't enjoy "Quickmatch" which seems to be just a ramming festival. I don't see how the weekly online races will differ much from the current "Quickmatch" except by being longer. I only enjoy racing online in proper championships against people I know and whose driving styles I trust. So far I haven't seen much that floats my boat. An event creator is a must to get repeat play value and would be especially enjoyable if the AI are good and you can race against custom liveried cars from your garage.

I think most people will very quickly tire of the online FIA championships - they will just be a novelty of interest to only the top 1% of gamers. like most people I do not fall into that category - I am not fast so will have no chance in any FIA championships. I get the impression that there might not be much for the non-elite gamer to do in GTS - except perhaps watch a handful of elite players race each other.

To be honest I prefer Licenses and Challenges in GT. Career is always too easy, but regardless career should stay.
