Just the Cooper S, Cooper D and Cooper SD models have ALL4 (as mini calls it)

The One, One S and Cooper are FF only.

As the image says it's the cooper S version. It should have the ALL4

In Japan (just checked the mini.jp website) the "Cooper S Crossover" and "Cooper S Crossover All4" are seperate models.

So I guess there's no reason why it should have 4wd. But it's odd that they didn't choose the version that does.

Unfortunately, the new dynamic chase cam from the last update still "glitches" after using it for a while. Oh well, maybe next update.:nervous:

They're talking about the Mini.

Oh ok. Ah on that note, i know that the new mini rally car is based off of the mini countryman chassis. It no longer has the front wheel drive drive-train. It has a all wheel drive drive-train. But i am pretty sure the mini countryman s is only front wheel drive. But i love mini but i am not as happy with the countryman.

The only thing i know is that i like a lot the voice of the woman describing the Aventador (in japanese version). That won t make me buy the car though ahaha ^^;

You completely missed my point, as a lot of people do. If you want to collect the cars and paint them and play Ken and Barbie with your drivers then that's fine, but if you want a 'Real' Driving Simulator, then GT5 is no longer it.

Can we not turn this thread into another stupid debate?

There are other threads for that.

Let's stay on topic here.

Didn't it used to be Thursday?

?? Its been updating around the same time for the past 5 years.
Every Tuesday around 5pm est.
Well I guess everybody dont keep up with the ps store :/

According to Wikipedia, it was changed from Thursday to the current days of Tuesday for North America and Wednesday for Europe in May of 2010.

You quoted in the wrong order.

So if the thread topic is: "OMG 2.03 and DLC!" and I want to make a point about the fact that the game is becoming nothing more than a 'car collectors game' or a 'dolly dress up game' based on the DLC, and the tyre wear is wrong and could have been corrected on the update 2.03, how on earth can my point be off topic?

And I had no idea this forum was solely for people to say how wonderful things are in GT5 World. Surely there are some driving and racing enthusiasts out there who care more about the physics of the game than the amount of cars that can be bought or how pretty the colours are of the cars.

Obviously I was wrong.

Maybe people do buy overpriced coffee on a daily basis, but would they if the cups didn't last long enough for the drink to be enjoyed before it spilt all over the floor?

I didn't miss your point though, i'm just arguing your first criticism of the DLC price point.

As for the whole painting and ken doll thing, that's just a matter of opinion. And if PD keeps rewarding suits and what not, it must certainly mean that the player base appreciates it.

The tire wear is an issue, but there is a nice feedback forum where you can add that.

And don't take franchise tags like "the real driving simulator" word for word. It only leads to flame wars.

The nba slogan is "where amazing happens" but last night's Lakers Mavericks game was meh at best.

But as r1600 said, let's keep this on topic.

That jag looks the business, but I won't be surprised if it sounds like its standard version.

Actually you do have a fair point I played the series from the first game and until gt5 arrived it was always about the races.

I remember even buying cars and not caring about the colour and just wanting to see how it ran on the track.

So you're saying Playstation Store didn't exist in 2009? Haha, funny.
And I actually do remember it being on Thursdays, rather than on Tuesdays.

According to Autocar the Mini Cooper S is 2 wheel drive.
If it was the 4x4 the it would be called the Cooper S ALL4 4WD.
That's here in the U.K. anyway.

Anyone know when the DLC will become available?

Usually it becomes available after the store updates.... Which i have seen it update between 12pm - 6pm EST.

They bear no relation to each other, ofcourse GT5 needs to be patched/updated regarding several issues and that they don't always do that has in itself nothing to do with offering more content, the content being offered through DLC doesn't stand in the way of working on these issues if that's what you mean (they're worked on by different people/teams).

And appreciating things like more cars, car colours and driving gear doesn't rule out caring about accurate physics and criticizing the games obvious flaws in certain areas, they can go hand in hand you know.
It's not black and white....it's gunmetal metallic with a hint of orange pearl. :dopey:

Yes but that's hardly the point though, they should've included the one named ALL4 then.
