The Public Flogging of Terronium-12.

It is time to flog T-12.

Now by 'flogging' I don't mean we're going to drag him out here into the Town Square, place him in stocks, and beat him to death.
This might happen if the likes of TB, Danny, Omnis or Pupik or even axletramp are let in here, but I'm hoping that T-12 will ban them from the thread with his secret powers.
By flogging I mean we're going to 'push' him, sell his good stuff, advertise the fact that he does wonderful work around here, and to provide a space for a short time to let him know we appreciate what he is doing.

Terronium-12 will never be Member of the Week even though he is prominently the member of the week that we actually read every week in the News Blog that mastheads our Forum. He takes the time to synopsise the various activities that are taking place in here, highlights the photography and writing skills of members, finds juicy discussions and brings them to our attention, comments on the more important Motorsports events that we should know about, and picks out the latest and best in the multitude of video-games that would interest us and lets us know in general what's happening with them.

In a sense - he keeps his finger on the pulse of this Forum and lets us know exactly what makes it race.

And he does all this in a single 'newsy' mini-blog in the News Section that does not take away from the special aura that Gran Turismo gives this Forum.

I always look forward to his latest (and sometimes maniacal) piece of writing; it is a way I keep tabs on that pulse myself in a quick, convenient and most entertaining fashion.

So there you go Terronium-12. A note of thanks and appreciation for what you are doing, and I hope I've flogged you right.
If you're smarting, then I've succeeded.

Now, the rest of you better get in here and flog him too.

As a guy that writes stuff for a living I know how all of that is, so I indeed appreciate all the intense work that go to the GTPlanet blog posts he makes, it's no easy stuff chaps. I hope he gets paid better than me.

Obviously there'll be a moment when he gets so red that he will quietly make this thread disappear.

Guys, really, while the thread is incredibly appreciated and I'm not outright saying "you shouldn't do that", in fact I'm not saying that at all, but what I am saying is the best possible way to thank me and the rest of the community is to keep the Spotlight going strong into the future.

In all seriousness, @Terronium-12, if it weren't for you, this site wouldn't be nearly as great as it is. I always enjoyed reading your weekly rewinds and when they went on a short hiatus, I was gutted, but I was very happy to see them return.
