The Renault Avantime Challenge

Okay, a challenge for all of you Tuners out there! The task is simple, yet not an easy one! First, you must buy a Renault Avantime '02 from the Used Car Dealership. Next, without changing the oil or rebuilding/modifying the car set a lap on the Top Gear Test Track, but it must be a valid lap with a Standing Start (at the line at 0 when you start). Then the challenge is to see a) How fast you can get it without modifications (Stig did 1:42.5) and then b) If you can beat a Mitsubishi Evo X by the Stig (1:28.2). If you beat it just keep going to see how well you can do.

Well done. I'd completely forgotten about this challenge until you posted. Seems it's easier than in real life, either that or Top Gear completely failed.

Oil change/engine rebuild shouldn't be allowed, N1 tires IMO.
Then it might be hard.
