The Ring Racing Series

Welcome to the most insane Racing series in GT4. These events will make you want to punch your mother, and stab your dog. Your first challenge will be to take a Pagani Zonda C12S 7.3 '02 with the upgrades of your choice(except Nos) and attempt to get a clean lap at The Ring, now wait a minute, there are some rules.

1. Don't cut the track.

2. Deleted

3. No Nos.

4. No cheating.

5. Follow the instructions, if I say leave the car stock that means NO UPGRADES.

6. If you want to run a particular car or track just ask.

7. EVERYTHING MUST BE DONE IN CAREER MODE.

8. You DO NOT have to complete every event or side mission, if you don't complete them all please submit the times for the ones you do via PM.

9. Times must be submitted before the last day of the current racing month, results will be posted the first of the following month.

Now that we got the rules out of the way I can elaborate on TRRS a little more. There will be 4 races a month, the next 3 races will be decided by the you. You have until the end of February to complete the races.

You guys will PM me each individual event time ONLY ONCE, that means the first and only time you should be sending me an event time is when you're happy with it. If you send me 5 different zonda ring times I will only use the first one.

This is how points will be awarded, and once all the times for a certain event are submitted I will post the results.

I initially was going to make the racing series only run the ring, but I decided to include all tracks at the competitor's request cause I thought running the ring over and over again would get old and people would drop out.

If you are first to suggest a track then we will run it in the BMW.

This series is meant to be fun with the events chosen by the competitor's, we will do hot lapping and run some events in the game. We will do everything from rally at the ice tracks to F1 at laguna seca.

Side missions wont earn you any points or count in any way when the GT4 results are posted, they're there own leader board, they're just a little something extra for the tourist trophy fans...

I think a "Pure" Ring race would be to use a stock M3 or M5.
find out what Sabine Schmitz's fastest time in the Ring Taxi around the Ring is, and try to beat that.

It would be more realistic, but 700+ hp is more fun.

I tried to upload the replay of the BMW using my thumb drive but I couldn't figure it out, I'm not sure if its possible. Here are some pics of an epic save during my lap for TRRS.

Nose dive at 100+mph...

...into drift, I dropped down to 70-80mph during the drift

I was surprised I saved that drift, my drift success rate on this game is about 70%.

I ran it again without the wing... and with a little bit of vodka. I had another near crash indecent.


I hit the grass around 170mph lol.

I slowed down to 80+mph in the middle of the drift.

And I saved it!!! I went on to finish this lap, its the lap I will submit to TRRS.
