secret.jpg

A secret endurance race using the Corvette C7 Test Prototype. No tuning allowed.
Directly from dealership to track with stock tyres. It's a very fun car to throw around and I just bought it yesterday.
I've seen it many times in the dealership but until now always left it alone.
It looks great.

The grandstands has been emptied. Villagers has been forced to sign vows of secrecy.
No cameras or recording devices will be allowed within thirty miles of the track.

The secret cars must be returned to the dealership post-race.
Failure to do so is punishable by two months of banishment from PSN.

I have set the race to Monday, February 9th at 8pm GMT, but if the grid proves to be less than ten cars in the coming
days it would be better to wait until it fills up.

Zo The Mute.
can we up the pp just a touch, to allow for an oil change?
I intend to keep the "Vehicle Tuning: Prohibited"-setting but gamer found out yesterday that oil change can still be performed,
so yes go ahead and change your oil if you are able to find an opening in those black covers to gain access to the engine.

They're pretty securely attached to the car body though. Good luck. :dopey:

It's possible to squeeze through the left hand air vent in the cockpit to gain access to the under-bonnet area (or should that be under-hood?) But don't go telling anyone. Vaseline may be required. And don't go trying it when the engine's stinking hot, you have to get naked to grease up properly and I got singed where you don't want to get singed. You have been warned.

Cheers, Zo.

May be to make it even more fun you might consider to change tire/fuel depletion Normal->Fast. Then you have to make pitstop.

(Sorry for douple post)

Just tested this combo and it's fun. I joined to the race in the club event.
Yes jammy and I went for a couple laps last night and I couldn't keep up with him. :)

you might consider to change tire/fuel depletion Normal->Fast. Then you have to make pitstop.
I have added a poll at the top of the page for everyone to vote.

* 4 laps with normal wear
* 4 laps with fast wear
* 5 laps with normal wear
* 5 laps with fast wear

The race time has been put forward one hour to help our friend @SmileyWRX
He races in a GT300 event on the same night and needs that hour in order to be able to join this race.

So the new start time is 9pm GMT.
Good luck Smiley. 👍

Go get 'em Smiley!

Update, A.M. Monday 9th...... Good grief, I've just had a spin in this understeering lard-arse.... that was a bit of a surprise. Going to take a heavy right foot to balance the bugger I recon. Anyway, for those who haven't been able to test, I can say that three laps without a pit stop is easy peasy. I wouldn't want to try for four though, because three cost me 81 litres of fuel. Heavy drinking is a bigger problem than tyre wear, to be honest, but is that just me?

Come on down for some slippery fun tonight.... see y'all in Spain.

Cheers, Zo.

Oil change, brake balance, painting and rims change (default size) can be done.

A secret tip. ;)
You can also add the increased rigidity option (from GT auto) without it affecting the tuning prohibited selection. That's if you feel it needs it of course. It can't be removed once fitted.

Whether all these should be allowed by the game... Well that's open for debate.

Welcome to

EXISTENTIALISM TODAY!

With Professor Zolon Thrice-Twice.
Have you ever noticed those majestic wind turbines at the top of the hill half way round Sierra, their blades continually turning in the virtual breeze? Of course you have, how could you miss them.

However, I have often wondered to myself, do they cease to exist once I have sped down the tricky long right hander and failed, once again, to stop in time for the even more tricky left hander at the bottom? Sure, the next time I climb the hill there they are, turning and turning again, but where they there when I was crossing the start finish line?

And, why should I care?

I am forever your humble servant, Prof Zo Thrice-Twice.

Very close between me and IfAndOr after almost fifty minutes of racing. I stole his fourth place just seconds before the end. :dopey:
Awesome race by you @jammy21 👍
That silly glitch just had to happen to Aaroh. :guilty:

Darn it, I forgot to check if I went under ten minutes on my best lap. Doubt it though.

jammy, buybon and I stayed on for a short one at Bathurst after;
