So who here likes skiing? What kind of skis do you have? Helmets? How long have you been skiing? Any pictures or videos?
I just picked up Poor Boyz Production's Revolver (click for trailer) a few weeks ago. First time seeing a PBP movie so I went back and got Every Day is a Saturday (click for trailer). Both were very sick ski movies. I have also watched Match Stick Productions' Seven Sunny Days, Push, Claim and In Deep before which were also sick. Have to get MSP The Way I See It (click for trailer).
IMO MSP has a lot of big mountain stuff usually, PBP seems to be a lot of urban and both have free skiing.
I know the discs are a bit pricey but if you are ok with using iTunes you can get the HD versions for $8 or $9 each and SD versions for $6 or $7.
Anyways, I found this video on Dane Tudor's site. Sick video, some profanity and you should skip 2:05 to 3:25 if you are squeamish or watch it if you want to know why you should sport a helmet.
Then there is this, Red Bull Cold Rush day 3. When you see what Sean Pettit goes off of at 1:40 ... insane.
Next year I am hitting the park. A bit of a late start I guess considering the age most of these guys start at and we do not have awesome parks like you guys out West have but I am pumped for it. Just got myself a helmet (Giro G10) and it is pretty ugly (looks bulky on my head). I wanted one of those smooth rounded style helmets like skateboard/bmx helmets or a full-face motox style (Giro Remedy S) but the G10 was the only one that fit my head.
I do not have any twin tips either, cash flow is a bit low. IMO not worth getting twin tips when I am just starting the park so I will stick with my normal skis and see what I can do.
