Sell it and buy an SL55. It handles like a car at half it's weight. The only mod I had to do in the SL race was racing brakes and Medium slicks for Nurburgring, "still learning the track". The SL55 owned the McClaren through the turns. By the beginning of the long straight near the end of the course I had 15 seconds on the McClaren. Setting up the turn right is crucial. Trailbreak, blip the throttle quickly to point the car in the right direction, and lay it down. It'll even allow you to oversteer, slight drift, to setup the curve.

i've been playing around with this for a few hours now, and the lil chit still doesnt turn. does anyone have a good setting?

Try to make the car lighter than the SST Silverado. ;) . The car is absolutely beastly heavy.

Gimme a bit I got one Slighly tunned her, she RUNS Nice. Ill tuner up a little more and post them Up

Check out My 05 GT Settings

they are posted under ProtegeLX

I won the SL race with a bone stock SL65. You have to drive it like you stole it, but it can post some obscenely fast laps. It's heavy, but it also makes 700 lb-ft of torque right damn now, so throttle steer is easy if your driving aids are turned off.

I'll suggest to reduce the weight, buy a full custom suspension and drop the car. I can test whats better for this car if you want, just ask me :)

[EDIT]

I'm doing the test, I'll make a video of !

Wow, you can't drive the Sl65..?

It's a beast right off the shelf, it's heavy, just do weight reduction stages and it's a total atomic bomb:embarrassed: It doesn't oversteer, it's rather neutral, I kept the power stock, it's already a beast won't you agree..

STOCK is for suckers, More power GO FasTAR Har har har

Dame she is Bad A$$ though! Your right rite out the box, I just dropped and stiffend her up, she IS A BEAST.

I am going to play in a bit (I cant get my girl off American Idol)

i'm new to this board but i may be able to offer my .02. this my favorite car to mess around with in this game.

i have stage 2 engine parts with a full racing suspension.

13.4--14.4
93---95
6--7
7--8
3.1---.05
-1---2
5---6 (in order as they appear in the settings screen)

custom limited slip:
10
40
20
weight balance:
15
15
driving aids off. (you can punch up the understeer up if you want)

with this set-up this car will want to slide all over the place but plow in some cases unless you put on a set of racing soft tires (R4)
with these tires the car grips like no other an hardly understeers with the right technique. i like grip with some over steer so i looked around for drift settings for this car as well as grippy settings for similar cars. have fun.
