Sell it and buy an SL55. It handles like a car at half it's weight. The only mod I had to do in the SL race was racing brakes and Medium slicks for Nurburgring, "still learning the track". The SL55 owned the McClaren through the turns. By the beginning of the long straight near the end of the course I had 15 seconds on the McClaren. Setting up the turn right is crucial. Trailbreak, blip the throttle quickly to point the car in the right direction, and lay it down. It'll even allow you to oversteer, slight drift, to setup the curve.
