The smileys are broken images for me

For some reason most of the smileys come out as broken images for me whenever I either try to post in the thread or if I see someone else has posted one.

Screenies of examples.

I can confirm it is an issue for me at home with Avast but not anywhere else.

Same issue here, also with avast!. Guess I'll have to live without smilies here for a while.

If they never worked in the first place then it will be a security thing.

If all of a sudden they all worked but stopped then try clearing your cache and that might do the trick.
