The Mulholland Legend 480, manufactured in Derby headed up by former TVR owner Graham Mulholland, former TVR designer Damian McTagget and built by Mulholland Automotive who have apparently supplied components to F1 teams and other supercar manufacturers for decades.

At least it actually looks like a TVR creation and might actually stand a good chance of getting off the production line before any real TVR does!

The back reminds me a lot of the Bristol Fighter, the front looks :odd:.

They've got the handle-less doors right, the front does actually resemble an old TVR concept sketch I saw. I think for a potential new flagship when they were under Smolensky, so obviously it was little more than hot air.

The rear end is the least TVR like part of the design IMO, but there are definitely TVR styling cues all over the place.

I just don't like it.

It looks like a generic take on what you remember a mid-00s TVR looked like without having source pictures to crib from.

The front is too big, the sides are quite slabby and the rear is like they gave up. TVR died making much better cars than this.

I think the front of the car was inspired by the 1996 Project 7/12 Concept, the original "Speed 12".

Anyway, the styling of the "New TVR" has kind of grown on me in the last day. Not as bad looking as I first thought.

This design seems to be a refinement of the official TVR Typhoon concept images that came out in 2007.

As long as it doesn't look like an SLS got rear ended by a Viper I'm more happy with it than not. Add a licence plate and badge to that front grille and it will be sorted imo.

Ah yes, that's the concept I was trying to remember when I posted earlier 👍.

Personally I much prefer that Typhoon concept to this but then like you said, maybe with a badge and plate on this new car it won't look so... gaping.

but it does have an air of an unfinished concept car tho...
The lack of tangible information about the car itself tells me they're very much in the "fishing for investors" phase. And given that they're about a decade and a half late to the retro-modern party, I wouldn't be surprised if this is the last we ever hear about it like so many other boutique supercar projects that have quietly faded into obscurity.

It looks like a kit car. What a bloody mess.

Also you can't get away with exposing that much of the tire when the car sits that high up, especially at the back where the arch gap is suddenly much larger. I've got trucks lower than that in SnowRunner.
