I would like to join, My dads friend owns a TVR garage, my favourite TVR that i've been in is the Cerbera speed six. The new sagaris is looking good 👍 I see most of you are from the UK so if you didn't already know fifth gear next week will have both the new Tuscan 2 and the sagaris

There was glimpses of the Cerbera peed 12 on Mondays episode as well. Next week shoul be great.

You know what, you might as well stick my name on that list as well. BTW did anyone get the latest issue of EVO magazine? 12 pages of TVR goodness including a special on the Speed 12 and the Sagaris.

Really?

Damn. I don't know where to get that magazine. It's not in any of the newsagents. :irked:

Edit - You're in. :)

Additional edit - Some TVR wallpaper for everyone. :)

Most Newsagents will only have it on the shelves yesterday or today but if you have a WH Smiths or anything nearby they should have it in.

I was with my dad doing his AA Patrol work today and he changed the fanblet of a TVR Chimeara today by the side of the M6.

Theres a Garage in Manchester called Bauer and Miller on Deansgate that usually has a few TV's in, they specialise in performance cars from all over and trucks, they have had Corvettes, the odd Lamborghini, Ferrari's, Esprit's ect. There used to be a TVR dealer in Manchester too but that closed down quite a few years ago. At least we have a Ferrari dealer now though.

Isn't there a TVR Dealer in Owlerton, Sheffield?

I used to go to Stock car races there and I could swear I passed a TVR dealer.

GT_Fan2005
which TVR's are made from carbon fibre
The Speed 12 has a Carbon fibre body, all the ones currently in production use Fibreglass.

And Ultrabeat, there is a TVR dealer in Sheffield called Hillfoot near a Burger King.

How do i go about joining this group. I have always loved the sheer Brutal power of TVR's. Any car called TOO Raw by an ex-formula 1 driver has to be something pretty special. TVR's rule....

i had a ride in a griff 500 once (x-reg '01, forgive me for saying but i hear not as good as the originals - '91) and it was awesome!! the dude driving took us off the slip road onto the A27 at 130mph!! cripes!
and does anybody know about this....
i saw a purple speed12 (cerbera) driving through Guildford, Surrey and when i mentioned that to this TVR bloke at Goodwood Festival of Speeeeeeeeeeeeeeed(!!) he said that there never was a purple bodyshell for that model Speed12....but to this day i swear i saw a speed12 on the road!! somebody back me up! that TVR guy should be sacked!

i know what i saw :grumpy:

The history of the Speed 12 is water proof, theres few holes and no mention or the Speed 12 ever being purple exept briefly in concept forms but that was back in and before 99 and it was never actually driven like that, I can tell you now, you didn't see the Speed 12, not the original Speed 12 or the Cerbera Speed 12 whch by the way has never been in road going form painted purple, it's been silver and red and I think it was another colour once but it wasn't purple, the origianl Speed 12 was purple but that never hit the roads at all, at least 1 Cerbera speed 12 did. That TVR guy shouldn't be sacked because he's right, you probably saw a Tuscan.

OK! Your in!

As live4speed says, it's very doubtful that you saw a speed 12. It was probably a Tuscan, or maybe a bog standard Cerbera.
