The Uncommon Car Challenges - [First Draft]
The Uncommon Car Challenges (TUCC Series) will be a series of challenges aimed at making top leaderboard times in specific cars that are not common at the top at all.
I'm not sure how the format will be exactly, but I plan to give out prizes in FM4 to reward your good efforts.
So far, this is what I have in mind:
That's the basic outline of my idea. I hope it will contribute to more diversity of car use and leaderboard positions.
Drop a line below and let me know what you think! All suggestions and ideas very welcome! Remember, this is just a very rough first draft to get my general idea out there.
I want to start organizing this in January and make it some kind of league, with a final prize at the end of the league for the overall winner.
[2011-12-02 Edit] I've thought about this more and putting more details together. The format will be a bit different, more specific, but I'll post that latertoday (too busy at work
).

So far, this is what I have in mind:
- Each challenge I will pick 3 cars (or hold a poll to pick 3) that you can use to set a leaderboard time or score. There will be at most 1 DLC car, so people who don't have DLCs can still participate in each challenge with at least 2 cars.
- You will get a set period of time (7 days?) to set a score and post it in this thread. It has to be verifiable on the leaderboard for the duration of the challenge.
- Your time or score is a winner if there's no other of the same car higher on the specific leaderboard at the end of the challenge. And by that I mean, no other car, not just people on FP who participate, but overall.
- There will be no restrictions on class, tuning or race type. If you want to drift in S class or race ovals in the same car in C class, then that's totally up to you. Do whatever you want with one or more of the cars and get it up there on any track, that's all.
That's the basic outline of my idea. I hope it will contribute to more diversity of car use and leaderboard positions.
