Nothing on TV tonight - so I dragged out my DVD of this film - root me stupid this is a great film.

Just thought I'd share....

Excellent movie, but I got suckered into buying the bare-bones DVD a year ago. (Dolby 2.0!?!) Now they go and release the full-on 5.1 edition! Bastards...

Oh well, it's still great. :)

I saw this about a week before I saw Se7en. Way back when I was a college student, a few freinds and myself had just gotten out of the local bar and hit a midnight showing (with a bag on.) Anyway, When Kevin Spacey came on the screen one of my more inebriated friends started yelling (and carrying on among other things) "Kaiser Soize!!! Kaiser Soize!!!" Needless to say we were ejected, and I didn't find out what happened to poor Gwynneth until years later... ;)

Ha! I saw Se7en and The Usual Suspects back to back - I love Ken Spacey as an actor, but man, I never trust his characters...

The Usual Suspects trivia: Did you know the role of Redfoot was originally offered to former Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell? Because the director/producer had no other recognizable movies, he turned it down. Whoops! :(

Watching movies drunk in the cinema is ace - but perhaps not for other cinema-goers! They used to have the midnight movie at University, and you'd always go in trashed and shout at the screen. Great fun!

This movie really blew my mind the first time I saw it. Between this and seven, Kevin Spacey is an acting genius
