I know. I was rubbing in the fact that you're colder than freakin' North Dakota.
And Michigan as well. The funny thing is just a few weeks ago, my sister that lives in Mesa, AZ was throwing a fit because it was in the 50s at the time.

What's funny is that when I went to play in the snow yesterday, I had to weed through all the traffic that is the snow birds that come down here to get away from the snow.

Snapped this photo on the way out of town.

That's about what my yard looks like (lots of brown) only mine's a whole lot flatter. And I have less snow.

It looked like this everywhere I was looking at

Lowest temp reached during these days was -3°C during new year's eve (Around 25-26F), it was even colder in the eastern part of the city.

There was snow in almost every hill I saw

We're having a heat wave here in Colorado. It's 21° F. The highest we've seen since Christmas.

Does it eventually melt or it stays like that until spring..?
Depends on the temperature and how much sun we get. It's snowed a few times but it's all melted off. At -18F, this batch isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

Got about 2-3 inches of snow this morning, now the temp is falling like a rock and it will be -4°F tonight.

If you're a polar bear. Which, contrary to popular belief, I am not.
The people on the Banned User Log probably disagree with that. As for here, it's 18F and currently blowing snow. It isn't snowing hard, but it's an issue since the wind is blowing at about a steady 15-20 miles per hour.

There's about 1.5-2cm of ice on cars and everything else outside at the moment. And its supposed to go down below -20C by the afternoon so people that aren't grabbing their ice scrapers now will be in deep trouble.

Yesterday I was grilling outside in short sleeves. This morning I had to start the car early to let it warm up and defrost. Wednesday night we are under some kind of extreme cold weather warning.

My sinuses are throwing a complete fit right now.

It's currently only -8°F with a wind chill of -17°F.

Thankfully, the stronger winds seem to be staying in @TB land.
