You can't do much during Aussie summers because it's either too hot or raining! Like yesterday.

Today and the rest of the week looking really good temperature wise. Even better if we do get some decent rain.

First frost of the winter. Not amused. At least things are getting slightly sunnier and warmer for the weekend - if you count going from 6°c to 9°c 'warmer'. :indiff:

I wish it was 6° to 9°C over here. The weather is still the same. Overcast, cold (around 0°C) but dry.

You've got to understand that frost and ice causes major consternation here. God help us if it snows, the locals will start sacrificing cows, hoarding tinned food, chopping up the furniture for firewood and shoving the old folks out into the night because 'they won't make it to spring'!

Good excersise for when there is a real apocalypse.

Low 70's for the past few days. Very low temps for the lows, so it's been cold. But, it's going to warm up tomorrow.

High 70's low 80's with the low increasing as well to much warmer temps so no more cold nights or mornings.

@FoolKiller - you got the snow we were supposed to have! There was a whole 3/8" on my driveway and it was starting to melt while I was shoveling.

Most of the snow here is melting. We haven't had snow here in a little while. It looks like they are calling for snow on Thursday, but I have now idea how much snow that we will actually get.

It doesn't feel like summer right now, but February is usually the hottest month of the year.

Expecting a blizzard to come rolling in starting now until about Wednesday. forecasted snowfall is about 30 inches or more for my area. Beautiful to look at but the aftermath is the worst part. :(

I am however excited to find an empty parking lot for some AWD snow drifting :)

The storm for the east coast is supposed to be devastating tonight. http://www.nbcnews.com/storyline/bl...ans-historic-northeast-blizzard-nears-n293526

"This will most likely be one of the largest blizzards in the history of New York City," Mayor Bill de Blasio said.

Meanwhile, yesterday was the hottest day in the last 25 years in a January day: 28ºC

(It usually never goes above 15ºC)

Continued freezing weather, temp was down to -28°F this morning.

current temp -15°F, looks like it'll be a balmy 0 degrees on Thursday.
