The aftermath...I shoveled some vents for the exhaust gases to escape, put her into reverse and she came right on out. These cars are phenomenal. Expecting another 3 inches starting early morning into Friday :)

Nothing special, just a little bit of snow. About 15cm.

*kikie runs off to play outside* :D

We finally have a beatufil sunny winter day. I like it.

It's been months that we have had a sunny day.

Again overcast. Not one bit of clear sky and no sunlight. I start to wonder if there are scientist whom invented a weather-controlling-machine and try to ruin the happiness of all the people living in this part of the world by blocking the sun day in, day out.

:D

Today, we've been hammered with snow. The prediction said anywhere from 7-11 inches of snow today alone.

So much snow, that it almost justifies owning a Range Rover, or a bicycle if you happen to support the Green Party.

You know what is ridiculous about Belgium? And no, I'm not being negative, it's fact.

If there are a few inches of snow, it is all over the Belgian news, like it is a new world wonder. The journalist are talking about the problems drivers have, about the fact that it is diffucult to deliver goods to stores ect... . While in the rest of the world, people start complaining when they have at least half a meter of snow or even a meter.

We make ourselfs ridiculous is the eyes of the rest of the world, when Belgian journalists start talking about the huge amount of snow that has fallen (few cemtimeters :D).

/end rant. :D

Finally stopped snowing early this morning. We we're supposed to get 10-12", but ended up with at least 16", and a lot of drifting.

High of 18°F today.

Finally stopped snowing early this morning.

Thankfully. Cleaning up this morning's dump was hard enough.

I find it funny how they overestimated the amount of snow for the east coast but underestimated for us.

Me too. I think the official total at O'Hare was 19.2" or something like that.

I cleared my driveway yesterday afternoon, and haven't been home since. Got that to look forward to after work.

I'm going to guess that we have about a foot of snow here. I'm just waiting for the National Weather Service to put up the official numbers since I'm really curious about how much snow we got here.

We had some fog yesterday which disrupted quite a few flights, then it cleared up in the late afternoon. Continued cold, currently -4°F. We might reach just a bit warmer weather next week.

Don't know what's going on, but Nome, Anchorage and Juneau have about the same temperature....which is 3 totally different regions of Alaska lol, current temp in Nome is 9°F

It looks like one giant weather system on the satellite image.

7:00am - a lovely 66F, 8mph wind
High today should be around 80F.

:D

We had great weather all weekend. I wanted to get outside and play disc golf.

But my hernia was killing me if I was on my feet for more than a half hour. The truss only got me through about an hour before I had to sit down. So, I enjoyed the beautiful weather in front of my TV, with my feet propped up.

Starting to feel like a typical summer again. Supposed to hit 35°C today and the rest of the week is looking like it's going to be pretty much the same. Oh well, the cooler weather was nice while it lasted.
