If you are enjoying the BF4 mp solo that is a very good sign. Because usually the BF mp games are not very fun solo. I didn't even enjoy BF3 mp solo. But loved it with friends. Especially if you have team mates that communicate very well.

There are things that could be way better if I had a squad that actually talked, or knew how to function haha. For the most part though I figured out how to work around playing solo and having fun.

Oh that reminds me, did you ever get a chance to check out the BF4 co-op? Or have you heard much about it? There were only a few co-op modes in BF3. Might be a better question to ask in the BF4 thread.

I dont even think there was a co-op mode, although to be honest I havnt really looked around. Didnt really know anyone with the game so I just played it once and moved on to multiplayer.

I just searched around and I'm seeing that there isn't a co-op mode for Battlefield 4.

Ok thanks for the heads up. As much as I love co-op I hardly played the co-op in BF3. It was okay but could have been a lot better. So finding out the co-op is not in BF4 doesn't surprise me. At least I got BF4 for free.

So this came in a couple days early!! Wasn't supposed to be in until Monday and came in Thursday.
X1 with Free Forza 5 and Free BF4. I didn't have any chance to play. Got on late last night, finished the startup, and started downloading F5 and BF4. Didn't hook up the Kinect yet either. More pics in sig.

I am going to buy a bracket after work tonight to mount the Kinect to the top of my TV. When I built the entertainment center back in April for my gaming setup I left room above the tv for it.

Turn your brightness up. Its easily visible or you can check everything out in my signature.

I played about half a game of BF4 yesterday on my new X1 and LOVED it! I thought the experience was incredible. 60fps with 64 players truly was amazing and ran very well. At launch yes this game was a disaster but almost a year later it seems most of the bugs have been worked out. I had so much fun that I will be buying premium for BF4.

Any one else having issues when they turn the console on the screen is dark like it's in power saving mode? I've seen one post on the MS forums but no solutions in it. Turning the console off then back on gets it working fine but is pretty damn annoying.

@CAMAROBOY69 congrats on getting the X1...you will be glad you got the Kinect...It turns my Reciever and Tv on with no problem....Just telling your TV what channel you want is worth it...The Kinect command of
"volume up/down" dont go down enough for me...usualy I have to say it 3 or 4 times to get it right...I started say "xbox mute"..works great...

Dont know if you headsets or not but let me give you a word of advice. My Astros will turn off after about 5 min of not using them and if this happens to you your friends will hear everything that is said....just saying...I found out the hard way....=)...send me a request...Im into FM5 and Battlefied mostly

You can change that in the settings menu. I have mine to go down by about 8 little blips on my TV

Wow, that's a massive boost for MS in the sense of exclusives.

But much like Bayonetta 2 on Wii U, it's not exactly a system seller but a hell of an exclusive to have.

Could be a good boost but big multiplat games like Resident Evil exclusive on Dreamcast and Gamecube didn't help the systems.

I can't find it but I think the devs said about the sequel along the lines of there will be less people working on it or the budget won't be as big so don't get carried away with expectations. That with Square Enix not happy with sales, taking a long time to be profitable, this deal gives Square Enix some solid money upfront and less risk.

I thought they said this about the game, "The most ambitious Tomb Raider game ever built.”
Microsoft sure seems to have deep pockets for this kind of thing, still quite an achievement though given the worst selling platform of last Tomb Raider game is now the only platform the sequel will be releasing on.

Thanks for the info. I realized that I don't think I will be able to turn on my receiver the way I want with the X1 because my receiver does not have an HDMI in or out port. I haven't checked into it much but I don't think its going to work unless I get another receiver. I will be hooking up the Kinect tonight for sure. Pulled it out of the box this morning and started considering my wire route for my entertainment center. I don't think there is enough wire to go down to the left so I might have to go up to the left. I will know more tonight.

If nothing else I will at least try to get my tv to come on with the X1. The tv for sure has hdmi ports.

I would think The Master Chief Collection would be a system seller for the X1 for sure. That is without a doubt going to boost the X1 sales. In fact it is one of the games that instantly convinced me it was time to get the X1. That's 4 full games in 1 game with over 100 mp maps and beta access to Halo 5. Just insane.

I do find it strange Tomb Raider 2015 will be exclusive to the X1. I am sure that will change.
