Pagani Zonda HP Barchetta was unveiled at Pebble Beach and only 3 will be made.

This is getting really old. When will Pagani finally decide to stop making special edition Zondas?

I cannot believe Pagani's still don't have Airbag steering wheels! I thought it was illegal now.

I believe if a company is only producing a small enough volume of a model a year, then the requirement is exempt.

Ugliest Zonda by a mile. I appreciate them trying to make it different but... it doesn't really work.

Would have worked better if the skirt was more pronounced like a race/track car. This is a bit more goofy looking, it's not that bade but it could have been one of the better limited run Zonda/Huayra but instead is about as tacky as when Lambo does this.

Did Pagani work out that they have enough spare bits to make 3 more Zondas but that they had ran out of roofs?

That interior. The owner is either someone who loves to play golf, or is stuck in the 80's.

Watching the IG Live stream, this was apparently Horacio's ultimate vision for the Zonda, described as a "gift to himself."

Beyond that side wheel arch, the chopped windscreen seems very unnatural. You can see the Zonda's design was never meant to flow without the full windscreen.

That is one ugly Zonda. Putting wheel skirts on a car as aggressive as the Zonda is like a tough guy wearing a kilt. It's extremely silly looking.

I think the rear wheel spats and the 'speedster' screen work well with the Zonda shape. I don't like how the spats have been implemented though. Would have work much better had they been integrated into the bodywork rather than just bolted on. They look like something a hypermiler would stick onto a Prius to get that all-important extra .25 mpg.

Split-legged seats?
Pringle?
Dead horse name?

No thank you. The only thing it has going for it is the blue body colour and even that is offset by the 'visible' carbon fibre.

Marchettino reporting these remaining 2 of the 3 will cost $15 million a piece. I'd rather buy 2 used Zondas for that. I don't think the R or Cinque even command that much used.

True, but the thing is other people own a Zonda R and Cinque and they would be identical to the one you own. The entire point of these "we swear it's the last one, no really" edition hypercars is that it's a unique customization you won't see among the already rarified collections of the zillionaires, who have to have something to set their collections apart and ensure it retains its full value when they inevitably sell it ten years later. The other Saudi oil barons and corporate CEOs won't be impressed if you own a Zonda or Veyron, but a Zonda or Veyron that was factory customized to be as ostentatious as possible is a different story.

Uh, your point kind of fell apart here at the beginning.

Depending on how freely Horacio is open to the next 2 owners, the Barchetta could be different, or it could be like the Tricolore and all 3 will be the same. But, the Zonda R & Cinques are not all identical. 2 Cinques are white with I believe, different interiors (Red & Black). One Cinque in the US is acid green, one is orange, and there are a few shots of a light blue example. The Zonda R is a bit harder to find different examples of, but for its Revolucion sister, we have seen a carbon blue (for sale), a black w/ red stripe car for the promo, & a silver/black carbon with the Italian colors painted on the canards and a silver stripe down the side.

Okay, citing those two examples was probably not the right assessment. :dunce: I guess it probably would have been more accurate to just say that throwing money at the factory for a "final" car is quicker than trying to negotiate sales terms with whoever actually owns the final car, and it'll be guaranteed to be different than what current owners have.

My favorite Zonda is still the original "F". It was the right amount of design.

The ones following have become a little garish, in my opinion.

They could have and should have made this much more elegant considering it's a Barchetta.

Never hopefully. Though I'd rather they just kept the Zonda alive like the 911 rather than do specials.

Is there anyone that relies on YouTube solely that is, besides maybe Pewds?

There are a few well know users that make money like him, just not sure if Shmee has hit that level. Not like the level he's at isn't already insane for a guy that posts only over bubbly videos on supercars/hypercars.
