Good day, lads!
Thought it will be fun to share my 2 cars, both with yet plenty of work and effort to be put in them.
1st post - 200SX.
2nd post and below - JZX81 Mark 2. :)
Just to make sure! I've put all images under QUOTE tags, to reduce overall size. Just reveal the quote to see images.

The first one is the 1993 Nissan 200SX. Originally powered by the usual Ca18Det.
The car itself was in a very poor condition, however it is fine to my goals. So far this one should be finished till spring 2015, I had to freeze this one as it requires yet a lot of parts.
Had quite a lot of fun with it though, and really love this car.

What a mess!

The only way to restore the body as I see it, was to do abrasive blasting, and here is how it looked like afterwards. It was god damn awful.

A month later after some amazing wielding, it was restored to it's original state. :) It was a candy to my eyes.

Next step, roll-cage.

That's where I had to stop for now, got involved into lots of other actions. :( 2014>2015 plans: 2jz-gte, r154 with somewhat 500hp, custom bodykit (I want it really wide), no freaking wisefab. Since I'm building it from scratch it sure involves a lot of work. Eh..

Yeah, and the next one. :D
The Mark II GX81 1992.
I bought this car as it's overall condition is rather fine and I had a 1jz-gte r154 boost up laying in garage (originally bought for 200sx).

Just your average 81st.

Won't go on details here, stripped the front of the car, removed the engined, cleaned it, painted it. Yeah, it's gonna be full red once finished.

And the good stuff.

This week we plant the engine and start working with the electrics of the engine.

Hope someone found it interesting. :)

Clever trick with the QUOTE tags, nicely done. That 200sx is off to a great start! Will it be a road legal car or track only?

I really don't know anything about the GX81 at all. But i really like the path your taking with it 👍

Originally I wanted to build 200sx as a street legal (in Russia, you can drive a car with rollcage as long as it has a certificate from autosport federation which I have), just with no unnecessary interior parts etc. Since then we have started our own garage, so the project is on different scale now. I'm building it as a pure track breed with no definition to bring it on the road (though I still can, law is rather easy on such cars yet). This brought an increased budget on my shoulders etc etc, but the main reason - I want something unique, pretty tired of all and the same SX out there.

Not much to tell here about GX, some of these cars were fitted with a 1JZ-GTE engined lately, mostly the top version had a rather outdated and simply bad imho 1G-GTE, others were your ordinary daily cars, like this one.
As usual it happens today the suspension is been taken from S13/SX, as the easiest replacement with most tuned cheap coilovers available on the market. Front breaks goes from R32 GTR, a popular replacement as well and the engine is a well known 1JZ-GTE, current one taken from 100 Chaser. The base itself will be light once we replace exterior with plastic bodykit, and overall it's a rather reliable car afaik. :)

Finally, the engine is been planted.
For those who might get interested. I have used custom engine brackets, specially made to be used with a pare of stiff custom engine mounts.
With this exact setup 1JZ sits lower to the ground and further to the back. It's perfect with a short to mid R154 transmission (I can't tell for W58 or Getrag versions) where you get your shifter right where you want it.
The bracket under the oil filter stays at stock place, while the one under the turbo goes to the front.

Forgot to show the brackets itself, they're very durable. Two drift seasons don't affect them at all.

I'm getting close to the first engine start, had some delays with shipment, took me a month to get myself intercooler.
The engine itself is ready, some minor fixes are still required.
The accumulator has to go in the trunk, there is just no place left under the hood due to the way the intercooler was installed.

As much as I want to have BBS, the parameters I require aren't easy to come by, so at first we're going to have these 15" 9.5 American Racing wheels (I've no idea what is the model of these). It's going to have some light bosozoku feel.

I was also quite glad to come across a bolt-on jzx81 exhaust.

So, the car is almost ready to go on it's first run. It's only a matter of 1-2 days till we're done with Stage 1.
We've worked a little on its' looks since it looked ugly as hell with 4 different colours, basically stripped.
Since I'm still waiting for my full body kit including trunk and hood, with wide +30mm front fenders and rear +20(?), we pulled the car together with the old body parts and painted them with your regular can paint (Gold Montana series).
With the body kit installed, I will repaint in proper red.
