Why not try one of the racing series in the On-Line Racing area for GT2?

There is the official GTP racing series that you can join in and there is the Historic Racing series in its seventh season.

I'm certain that existing racers would likely help you with learning about some tuning that could easily be translated to most of the cars in the game.

Youknow, I read up on the Historic series at GTP, and I'm going to give it a try. Mind you, I have about 20-30 minutes of playing time in a week, but even if I'm last, I still want to give it a shot.
