Never came across an answer for this but in GT7 game store ads and I think Sony do, It states catch a glimpse of your driver in rear view mirror, just got a PS5 and was looking forward too seeing reflection of the driver in the mirrors in game, can see it in the intro, but see nothing ingame, Was it removed? and if so why?. edit, can see my helmet reflection in the dashboard screen of the mp4/4

The rearview is currently only available in the bumper-cam. No other views have the rearview mirror yet, but bringing it to the other views is a much requested feature.

It was likely removed for performance reasons. PD may not have been able to keep the PS4 and PS5 versions consistent with each other so they just removed it.

Well defo not seeing a reflection of my drivers helmet in any of my mirrors, so guess so, it was to be only on ps5.
