I really want to know what the words "ksa", "hgwlh" and "drrb" mean, because I see them all the time as online lobby titles and I don't :censored:ing know what they mean!

Yeah Arab language includes not just arabic writing but english letters and numbers are used to form a written pronunciation of it.

I want to know what PR means. Points racing? Puerto Rico? Pimpin' Rockstar?

The thread topic needs to be more specific than "driving me crazy." I'd like to ask the mods to check this if they have time -- many new threads titled "help me" or "this is stupid" or "what does this mean" or the like. There's plenty of room in the thread title for topic-specific language.

Private Room...However, sometimes it may be an abbreviation for something not in English. If that's the case then your guess is as good as mine.

My question about different languages in the US region is why are they there in the first place? Aren't there separate areas for different parts of the world? When I chose US as a region, are other countries piggybacking onto our region or do gamers from Brazil just like to use ours? It causes a few problems with language barriers and lag, so why don't they just stay in their respective regions? I can understand Canada; but Spain or Britain? And then there are a lot of "No USA" rooms from Canada...I know it's not a lag issue with them considering Michigan and Ontario are neighbors, for example.

Most of the time, when I see PR, it means Puerto Rico because I see lobbies from Spanish speaking countries. And I also see "PR" in people's names, further indicating Puerto Rico.

"PR" does mean "Puntos de Rendimiento" in Spanish. It's the same as PP - Performance Points in English.

I hope It did help! ;)

It is Sony fault for not making a support for arabic in the ps3, if they did it then you will all see this in arabic (you will not see drrrb, hgwlh....etc)(not counting "ksa", "uae", "kuwait", "bahrain", "qatar" and "oman" because these are some middle east country names).

sorry for bumping this thread
