This weekend is going to suck big time

Just got my wisdom teeth pulled out about 3-4 hours ago.

My whole bottom lip is going to be numb the whole day (to keep the pain down) and I can't really eat today at all (except for liquids).

Well, on the bright side, I get milkshakes and set up my PS3 for hands-free A-spec grinding, so I have some virtual money to spend when I feel like I can do stuff.

This just sucks!

Even though mine weren't pulled (not yet anyway) I know what you're going through, trust me.

Three of mine came out without incident. The fourth one shattered and the roots had to be dug out.

I woke up, albeit briefly, during that.

Had to get mine out due to growing like 45* into my other bottom teeth.

Plus, they were still under my gums and haven't rooted (or whatever the term is), so it was best to just get them all out then.

I got all four of mine out this past summer... I had the numbing agent injected into me but I didn't need it... I passed out from the needle they used to administer it.

But I wasn't too bad off - only needed the pain killers in the immediate aftermath, and I was normal in a few days. (they came out on a Friday, and I was able to eat steak - somewhat gingerly albeit - by the following Tuesday)

That's when they're impacted - mine were the same way. And yeah, best to get them out before they cause REAL trouble!

I just booked in to have three of mine out at the end of March. Have already filled the perscription for panadine forte in preparation. I might actually get some B-spec done in the day or two after if I feel too much like crap to drive A-spec.

Well I'm currently waiting on a travel visa... I registered to a forum where people who had applied were discussing theirs... People on the forum have started getting their visa's. My application got held up a few days, but judging by the dates of all the emails I received (and the dates other members who now have their visa's received emails on) I should be due my visa in 1 working day... aka Monday...

So my friends, this weekend is going to 🤬 draaaaaaaag for me.
