I have a question regarding the Bugatti Veyron cars aka tank cars (my description) that I suspect most have been put off as a result of the dreaded devil S-5 final licence test which I hate with a passion.
Does anyone race them in any Seasonals? Reason why asking is I've noticed all sorts of different cars with accompanying tunes have been offered as suggestions for various Seasonals but I have yet to see any one of the Bugatti Veyrons suggested and/or tunes proffered for such.

Not a whole lot of people do, mostly because the Veyron won't comply with the regulations that the seasonals have unless you detune it a bunch. But then at that point, there are more manuverable and overall better performing cars to use over the Veyron.

They are not competitive in 600pp 4wd cars unless its a special stage route 7 thing and even then, that Supra RZ doe...

Well that just makes it more fun. It may be understeery, but it is as stable as a battleship. If I can get a Silverado turning well I don't see why a Veyron would be insurmountable.

Would be interesting if we could get a Seasonal in which the Veyron might be a viable option. At least it may present an opportunity to encourage racers to use.
So far for me, because I've not seen any viable opportunities to use I have not purchased any but if they do arise I would consider.

If that were to happen it would by typical of Polyphony... while the world is focussed on the Chiron, they focus on the Veyron.

Be a good time to release the Bugatti VGT.

Yes the problem here is that PD have the imagination of a dover sole when it comes to the seasonals. If they actually put some thought into them and came up with more unique restrictions each month then more cars might be viable to use.

If a seasonal ever pops up where it's elidgable and stands atleast a tiny chance I'll try it. I don't mind driving it yes it's a boat I like it for some reason.

I did use the Veyron in the 24 minutes of Nurburgring absolutely smashed since the 4WD was nice in the rain.

The veyron has one huge problem and its the weight, so that makes it not competitive in laptimes.
Another one as said its the power, you have to detune it a lot to fit most seasonals.

Other than that, it can be tuned to turn much better in corners, but still will be a heavyweight and wont do competitive laptimes in a certain PP.

Its a straighline machine in both real life and in the game. Reminds me of american muscle cars in this aspect.

Chiron is like a Veyron mk2 though. Like an updated, facelifted and more powered Veyron

I just drove the veyron and for some reason I really liked its handling. I drove the c7, Viper GTS and Murcielago and this seemed to handle the best of them all. Weird considering I hated that car to death 1 month ago.

Is the license test you're referring to the one on Ascari? It's not that difficult, just break really early.

Did it on my first, second lap? And I'm not that good of a driver (lower-mid or upper-back of the pack on a good day, often battling for not being last place).

Just cruise man.

The Veyron is 4wd. At Ascari, drive it like a rally car. The license test there is actually very easy. I've only done it four times (twice on each of my accounts), and have a 2:13 as a best lap.

My experience is they eat to much fuel and don't handle very well
