Just won my first race with a wheel! 33 in total but this is the biggest achievement for me so far and means the most.
Used the gr.4 TT on Alsace. Got 2nd twice with the Atenza but just couldn't match the FF's so went for broke and boom, 1s off my qualifying time, pole and win with a 4s lead.
Still not up to my old speed but definitely getting closer. Think I could be about 0.5 to 1s quicker in time. Need to work on consistency.
Thanks for all the help and encouragement on this forum.

Got second on Nations cup today and went from BA to BS ranking with a total clean race. The race afterward with s ranked people went awesome to. Driving against lads with top ranked sportsmanship is like playing another game! So polite, so clean. I think as a game pad user i'm beginning to get pretty good :embarrassed: GT sport is my first GT game, i have just played the forza 6 campaign when that came out a couple of years ago, going for AS ranking next!!

Managed another win yesterday, from 2nd to boot n the Raptor on DT.
Was quite an aggressive race from my competitors but just managed to hold on.
No SR penalties either and friendly congratulations from 2nd despite all out attack mode from them during the race.

I'm always matched against some S dude called Derek, I don't think I'll ever get a win/pole/lap again.
It's nice reading about others wins, such distant memories for me now lol.
Ya, I'm middle of the road Dr.B driver with Sr.S(99/99), and always get a field with a bunch of Dr.S/A folks.
3sec a lap off the front runners, but, great racing with the other Dr.B folks in the mid field.
These days a 10th place feels like a win.

I was high DR:B for a while and had the same experience you mention here, then I had a run of great races and ended up in DR:A. I've not won another race since lol. Slowly dropping back to DR:B which is where my skill level is if I'm honest. DR:A are just a bit to quick for me at present.

Im a high c low b driber and i always get matched up with a couple A drivers.. 3-5 seconds faster.. so im generally looking for 3rd place 5-7seconds back ... thats my wins now.. dont think ive won in the last 45 races now. I was 4/65 or so before that. But hit that plateau of matchmaking.. wish i could just start over at e for the fun of climbing the ranks again.. (short as it is)

Out of cutousity I logged on with my non psn account and it let me play online, 1st race there are 3 guys who are nerfing their rank, so even starting again there will be fast guys going after those trophies.

Well. With the race i just had. It shouldnt be long before my sr is down to b.. just dropped to a.. havent been an a for about 100 races. One guy turned into me while i was full car alongside no less than 8 times that race... once i got past never saw them again. But damage done

I came in 4th at the Interlagos Gr. 3 race this evening due to severe fuel conservation, lost 3rd by 0.220 because I went a little wide at the final turn and the guy behind me got a good run. That's the best ever in Gr. 3 by many places. I'd better start screwing up though, I'm only 60 points away from an A driver rating.

Earlier, I went from 18th to 4th in Daily Race C in the GT-R in a DR A race by no-stopping. I lost count of how many fuel-saving 911s I cruised past. I don't know what the GT-R uses for fuel but it can't be what the other cars were using.

My DR was flying up today, even finished in between some DR:S guys, then the next race I got a blue screen error during warmup and my wheel locked to the left 8-| Arghhhhhhh!!!!!
I unplugged it and plugged it back in and all seems fine, but I checked Kudos and my DR and SR took a steep dive. After two more races I got it going back towards the sky again.
phew.

I made the top ten for the GR4 GTR single make race at Brands today with a 1:30:204 (tied for ninth). It will likely not stick, but that's alright for this DS4 jockey :D
I hit the top 10 leaderboard once, but it was also on a day where I didn't work and most of the Aliens hadn't come online yet.
Made it to 8th on Maggiorre, can't remember if it was GR.4 or GR.3 - I think less than an hour later I was off lol.

Consistently made pole position on today's RX-7 one make race and raised my DR and SR back to A. Added 5 more wins to my record.

What made it better was that I graduated to SR and DR S for the first time in the GTR Gr.4 race by consistently racing as clean as I should. I fell back to SR D and DR B couple of days ago, so this felt quite a surprise.

Perfect example how easy it is to get SR S. No wonder in the Manufacturer Race are so many unfair AS and SS drivers. 50% of times i get overtaken there, it was not fair or clean. 50% is horrible for SR S drivers. It seems they just dont care in FIA Races and then push it back up in standard Races...Unbelivable abuse of the System all the Time. No Honor in such things...

Btt: My last Victory is a while back. I am always in the Mustang since Season 1 and its never enough for the Poleposition. Most times i start 5-15th and end up in 5-10 Position at the End. But i am happy with that, as long as noone bumps me off.
For Victorys i am not constant enough, and every little mistake means in my Matchmaking someone will dive into the inside and probably even bump you off Track if you dont give him the Position. Thats just how unfair most of Drivers are. If only it would cost real Money when they damage the Cars. It would stop imediatly... People with no Honor in Games make me always think about how this World would be if there was no Consequenses for bad Behave in Reallife. It would be Hell on Earth for sure...

I knew i had seen this thread earlier and i really had to search for it, but i found it after 15 pages , because this is worth a self congratulation:

:D I apologise in advance if I'm mistaken, but that looks like pit lane glitch smugness. Actually, that would be smug worthy, as I know there is nothing smug worthy about grinding blue moon bay :indiff:.
Nope, i tried the pit glitch a few times, but it just felt wrong and it wasn't any fun, i'm grinding this:

Gran Turismo™SPORT_20180131201126.jpg

and grinded the first endurance race 5 times, i think i have grinded Northern Isle Speedway for at least 10 mill taped the R2 button on my controller and let the game earn credits for me, but most of this is grinded by me :).

still got about 6 million or 3.5hrs to go to pick up the keys to the xj13
Hahaha, i wish i did the same, but i bought the Ferrari, regret it couple days later, sold it for 6 mill, grinded 14 mill, bought the Jaguar, keeping that one though, but now i'm grinding for more credits for future cars added to GT S, i have 13 mill now, will stop at 15 mill, so i can earn credits while doing "normal" racing and not grind .

omg how could you sell the ferrari, ahh I'm guessing you don't have PSVR?

Because of this:

If you don't like high pitch engine noise/sound, don't buy the Ferrari, that's why i sold it again, i had to turn my TV volume down when driving it, the Jaguar XJ13 is much better when it comes to engine sound ;).

What is PSVR? Edit. No i don't have PSVR :).

Edit : ah yes PSVR makes all the difference, the engine sounds nice in the 'stock' PSVR 360 degree audio headphones, and looking out the windscreen nestled between those thighs curvy front wings is bliss.

I finally did it. Platinum trophy, not using any glitches.

What it did take was 214 wins on GT League Bluemoon Bay pro race with N300 KTM XBow with a best time of 11:36.628 after all that. Although most of it was done while watching tv, since not long after GT League launched. 214 wins at 75% success rate for clean bonus accounts for about 1.6 million of the 2.4 million xp needed. It also earned the 2 20 million cars, actually it was good for over 70 million credits.

I won my first race as a DR:A driver :) Well happy with that. Gr4 at Maggiore against a few DR:S's to. Was on the pace all night and great clean racing in all 5 or 6 races I ran (apart from 1 or 2 incidents I saw in my mirror).

I love the Maggiore layouts and I love my 458 :)
