You've got a "Search for all posts by this user", how about a "Search for all Threads started by this user." Or does that exist and I'm just not seeing it ....

Is there a way to list all open threads in one list? Then you could just go to the first thread by that user ... hmmmm ....

I'm not exactly sure if I understand what you're asking...the title and link to the last thread a user posted in is included in their profile.

I think LoudMusic is looking for a differentiation between merely posting to an existing thread, and starting a new thread. I.e. he's looking to see who on the Planet is having the original ideas, and who is simply replying to an existing topic.

Unless I've got it wrong!

Well, that's a bit of a side effect. I'd just like to list all of a certain member's threads. Like take vat_man for example, I want to see every thread he's started. That would give me insight into what he likes to talk about. I'd also like a list of my own threads so I can share them with other people and say, "These are the discussions I've started!". Or just to be able to see who starts the most popular threads. If there was a way to list all the threads and maybe sort by most replies, that would be cool.

I tried to create this effect with the search engine, but it doesn't give me good enough options for searching. I'm sure there are more ways of searching that aren't available for the members. That's how the new posts search works.

Found it! This is what I'm wanting (: Just thought I'd bring this thread back to life so it'd get noticed again.

OK, I got it! Just click on "My Threads" under a user's post, and you'll be taken to a list of all the topics they've started. I have also added this link in profiles. :)

Ok so who else has 6 pages of threads that they started? 😈:fdevil::devil2:

BTW Jordan thanks for this smilie :devil2:

ROCK ON! Dude, this is so cool. I bet it has a major effect on historical threads being brought back from the deep dark holes of GTP. People who are notorious for starting good threads will be seeked out, and their threads will live on! (:

Yeah, you're exactly right! I've already used this feature a lot more than I thought I would, it's very interesting! :)

This is a great feature, one I might add, I have wanted for quite some time. *kicking myself for not mentioning it before*

Just one more added feature that makes GTP "Da Bomb" as someone might say. ;)

 to Jordan....
