Threads with lots of videos on iPad Pro 12.9"

Pages with lots of media like large photos and YouTube embeds use a lot of resources and it seems your iPad is struggling. You'll need to view the page on something more powerful (like a regular computer).
 
Yeah, threads with lots of videos are just tough for some devices to render.

However, I wouldn't expect a powerful device like the iPad Pro to experience any problems. I loaded the thread on my iPad Air, now three years old, as a test. It was a bit janky at first, but once it loaded and rendered I was able to use the page like normal, with no crashing in Safari.

There are lots of other forums I view with loads of Youtube videos listed that do not act this way.
 
I think... I have solved it. As pages and performance was never slow with anything really.

I found this really useful on top of clearing my history- just navigate to Settings > General > Reset Network Settings (your device will reboot afterwards)

Hey presto; websites load perfectly and links from facebook etc don't continue to reload.

Went through 4 pages of that video thread and no auto reloading. How bizarre.
