Not sure I like the pedal mount (never understood why people use pedals flat on the floor), but I dig the wheel mount (no bar between the legs), just as long as it is sturdy enough.

Aesthetically pleasing, though.

Thoughts?

;)

how much?? $500?

design is well though... look like a segway.... except you are sitting... just like our grandpas cart...

It's wireless..!! nice :) Acurate... i hope so.
How long is the battery? it doesnt matter so long as we get a warning before losing controls... probably lithium based, or just like our controllers...

The wheel mount IS a bar between your leg for those boys playing with short arms...

i wonder how that is fixed... (the angle of the bar with respect to the floor...)
because i imagine that can be folded flat for storage...

great idea tho!

. It's listed just over $250. Not sure about the wireless part. I've never had any reason to get rid of the wires, personally.

Would be a darn good alternative for people on a budget... If it was a little bit less expensive. It's because of the wheel of course, which brings it's other flaw to the table, the wheel mount is most probably designed specifically for that TM wheel, so no chance of using it with other brand wheels.

Hard to tell from the pic, but are the pedals & wheel built-in on that "stand"?

I'm not impressed by the driving position and the stability could be an issue also..

Looks like a vacuum cleaner with a wheel. :dopey: 900 degrees with force feedback?

it still looks that the knee will hit the bar.
it's nothing for me. Need clutch,+ blblaba

i love fake ads....

Ps+ Tv not connected, image copy paste on the screen, not even adjusted!!
And than the nice ikea photos cases. haha typical flat of a 25 year old. and so clean.

$250 is a lot to pay for something with no force feedback.

If you've ever played with a non-FFB wheel, you'll know just how numb and unresponsive it "feels", so to speak.

I'm not sure they're marketing plan is going to work. For $250 you can get a G27 or a Fanatec wheel, and just clamp it to a desk. If it was a "cockpit", maybe, but as a "wheelstand", and with no FFB, $250 is just too much to swallow.

The Fanatec Porsche 911 Carerra wheel seems like a much better option. You could use the money you've saved to go towards a wheel stand to mount it to.

;)

I could live with the 270 degree thing, but not the lack of force feedback. This was actually a very dissapointing surprise for me, as their stand alone Ferrari F430 wheel does have FFB, so for me, a "semi-cockpit" bundled with a FFB enabled wheel for $250 (which will most likely drop in the following months) would've been a fair price in my book.

I agree, Coxis. I wish they had taken the same approach as MS with their Xbox 360 Wireless Racing Wheel and offered a choice: play with vibration/rumble effects on battery, or plug in the optional (even if it was a for-pay accessory) AC adapter and get force feedback.
