Guys, just bought a T300RS GT wheel/pedal set today. Unfortunately, it doesn't work.

Yes, switch at base is at PS4. Nothing happens when 'PS' is pressed; mode light is always OFF except during startup when it lights GREEN for about 400ms and then RED for about 200ms. Then it turns OFF. Also, wheel moves clockwise (barely perceptible) for about 1 second and then that's it.

When connected to PC, everything is OK – auto calibration at startup and firmware is up to date (Firmware 27, Driver 2.10.3.0). Downloading F1 2016 (PC game) now. If PC game works with this wheel, does this mean that my PS4 Pro is faulty?

Have you tried plugging the wheel into a different USB port? You could also try to charge your controller from that USB port, if it won't charge then the port could be faulty.

Return it and get a replacement.

That T300 RS GT is about the best reviewed wheel out right now for the money. There was a review I read on a website selling that exact model (GT has the better w/T3PA pedal set) & the buyer had the exact same problem. I hope swapping to the other USB fixes it.

Ya, do what "Parker" said
- Try different USB Port
- Using same USB port for controller charging, and make sure it's actually charging
- Try PS3 mode

Sorry I dont have PS4 Pro to test but can confirm my Thrustmaster T300RS + Shifter + Pedals works well on a normal PS4

I went through Two Faulty T300 RS GT's during the GT Sport Closed Beta so It's not an unusual issue. Definitely Return It for a Refund and try your luck with another one.

Definitely sounds like a fault to me. I have the exact same wheel and the start up process should be that it calibrates itself by turning to full lock both clockwise and anti clockwise. Then pressing the PS button in the middle will register it as a controller.

update - it was my PS4 Pro that was faulty - all USB ports (front/rear) are dead; can't rebuild database or initialise as USB is required for controller connection. anyway, PS4 Pro (launch unit) was quickly replaced by EBGames and it's all good now. i'm still getting used to the wheel; still can't beat my 'controller' times.
