Ran a few laps in rev in both cars last night, should be a good one. Oh, and this time I'm pretty sure sub minute is possible :sly:

OK Erik some splits,

Delta forward 220gear/ 12.543/ 28.126

Pug Rev 220gear/ 9.383/ 24.550

so far I ran both forward. The Delta is faster but I like the way the Pug drives better. 👍 Although I did run the Pug @ -20 :dopey:

180 for Delta, 3 clicks down for Pug. Really nice combos.

This is my plan:

Delta Forward / Pug Reverse

I ran both directions with both cars and found I am much faster this way. I think my gearing needs tweaking. I put about 12 laps into each. Which combos are you doing, Erik?

I have not ran forward yet, or much on rev either, but I'd say I'm faster in the delta, so I'll run that forward to try and even it out. So far gearing I've used pug 250, delta 240 on rev.

Delta Forward : 180 : 12.526 / 28.226
Pug Reverse : 270 : 9.383 / 24.876

Tried a few laps in the Delta on the forward track and I think its much better with longer gears so stock 250 seems perfect for me and it cuts down excessive gear shifting also which is perfect for the last couple of turns :) so far in my best save I have .. 12.377 / 27.945 but there's loads to gain in the turns before T2 and can see them go maybe as low as 27.5xx region after a few sessions 👍

I'll be back with some more on this and some laps in the PUG :) .. Cool combo's 👍

yeah, I realized my gearing was all wrong with the Delta Forward I didn't go to 250 yet but it makes sense...

Some fast ones coming in already, I need to run more but do have some splits for the rev.

pug rev 240
9.430 / 24.992

UPDATED: Mike, Jake, Ron 👍 and me :dopey:

I ended up staying up even though i'm in work in just over 4 hours :dopey:
got some laps in the PUG on reverse and here's my splits .. 9.212 / 24.313 :)
This is much better to drive than the delta and sounds pretty cool too 👍
I'll be back in the next few days

i'll be coming in with sluggish t's tonight. yesterday i only got back at 1130pm after a very busy 150-plates evening in the kitchen after which i had no energy left to play :yuck:
the r2s are nice & skiddish, i might even pop r1s in the back just for fun.
👍 to erik for his great initiative. who's gonna suggest to make him a mod?

PUG forward - 12.243 / 27.548 :) 👍 took .6 off my Delta forward laptime! .. so I think this is the way I will run it .. will find out when I try the Delta on the reverse later today

Well, after reading that this morning and almost spiting coffee all over the screen :P I decided to have my first go at the forward in the 206. I concure as my delta and pug rev are very close, I'll get some splits up in a bit.

EDIT: All right, now I have some splits on both tracks, now I see I'm slower in the delta but I think that's o.k., also I think the forward track yeilds faster times. It will be interesting to see how this one pans out.

arora 206 forward
12.522 / 27.936

arora delta rev
9.335 / 25.014

Still needs much work :dopey:

UPDATED: me 👍 and left your times alone Ron untill you decide..

Delta Forward : 210 : 12.415 / 28.004
Pug Reverse : 240 : 9.380 / 24.744

small improvement for me. I look forward to seeing if my car/direction choice works out. I need to get my gearing right. better than what I started with but I am still clicking it...

sorry erik but i wont be posting for tt3. i just dont care for this track.
good luck to all, and maybe we'll see each other at the bonus round.

UPDATED: me 👍 and left your times alone Ron untill you decide..

Nice work with the improvements Erik 👍

I will just leave my times on the board as they are, because I had a few quick laps last night on the Delta @ reverse and its about .6 off my PUG reverse :P .. so its basically balancing out that the PUG rules in both directions :)

Time has run out for me with busy work days starting tomorrow :( Cheers for some great battles guys! catchya's down the road at an OLR soon
I'll post all my replays in a rar save when the results are posted 👍
Cheers
Ron.

Woops, I almost forgot about my own series :dopey: Cheers Ron.

I'll run both directions some this afternoon and see if I can at least get my delta time down a few....

Hi guys :) Erik pointed me on this one earlier this week and said I would give it a go. Great fun! Don't hope I spoil the fun :sly:

Delta forward: 12.281 / 27.737

Pug reverse: 9.218 / 24.115

Ran both cars with 190 gearing and it fitted perfectly for me 👍

Bloody hell! .... who dug up this old relic :sly:

Sweet splits Mr Bossman ;) .. and good to see you back in the seat mate

New splits for me, they don't look much better but they are .5 off at the line in total ;)

Delta forward: 0'12.391/0'28.012

Pug Reverse: 0'09.311/ 0'24.422

Hi Hugo  Glad you liked it

I ran a few more laps in the Delta and found a very small improvement

Delta Rev
9.387 / 24.897

UPDATING: Hugo, Mike, and me 👍

Sweet splits Mr Bossman ;) .. and good to see you back in the seat mate

Thanks mate :sly:

I'll probably be back in the seat more the coming months, up for some great battles 👍

Congrats Hugo on the win 👍, congrats to Mike and Ron for rounding it out. 👍

Another well deserved series win for Ron  Nice one Mike, gave em a run this time for sure 👍

Thanks to all for running this mini series, I had tons of fun with it and hope you all did to :)

Erik

Loved it Erik and you did a great jobon coming up with these great races. Ron im glad to have been able to push you along and well done to all that run ;).

Hugo congrats on your win this week and its a shame you couldn't run the whole series 👍

Congrats on another series victory for Ron  You have to watch out for Mike though as he's still getting faster and faster :sly:👍

Great little series again, Erik :) Although I could only run the last race, I enjoyed it 👍

Congrats to Hugo for the Win  and Mike for a great 2nd place 👍
Congrats also to the other few guys that took part ... Well done

I was originally going to submit my totals for the Delta forward and Pug reverse .. but when I totalled everything up I found this way around was .015 faster combined :dopey: and with the 37.0 I knew it would finish better than the 37.5 and 37.6 I had the other way around ... anyway the PUG was much faster in both directions and not really anything for me to gloat about with a win in the final round :guilty: .. Awesome lap in the Delta to match the Pug by Hugo  👍

It was fun all in all .. not my best effort this week in time spent or that 38.1 would have been a definite 37 of some sort :P .. but those things happen ;)

Thanks to Erik for these cool comps to keep us oldies entertained with side battles away from the WRS 👍 and! Big Thanks and Respect to Mike for being one smooth racer and opponent who is definitely on the fast track nowadays and a worthy opposition for most of us
Hugo knows he has my admiration at his skills .. Hopefully one day I'll find your pace mate ;)

Cheers to all the guys who took part .. I will upload my 4 replays for this round in a rar file tonight.
Ron.
