I've heard a rumour that if you stick this on the rear window of the Clio V6 and drive down the hill of Mount Panorama slowly you may be abducted.

Some further improvement. I can maybe squeeze a tenth or two out but probably not more. This combo is weirdly fun – on one hand the car feels boringly stable and on the other I ask myself how far can I push it?

Question for the Clio TT, seems that everyone is saying it is a pretty easy one to gold, but how come so mamy people are really high up on the leaderboard? If loads of peiple are golding it with really good times then surely others should be dropping down the board 🤷🏻‍♂️ everyone seems to be 1-1000 on this one.

As far as the leaderboard ranking goes, I believe a lot of people usually at the top focus on the AMG trial right now. Surely most will swoop right back in shortly before closing time, but it doesn't seem there is much PB grinding going on in the other trials atm.

I get that, but what I mean is that the gold times that people are posting on this thread all seem to be in and around the top 1000 as if GTP has taken over all the top times on this TT.

Unless a lot of aliens haven't joined in yet.

I think I can do better than this. I threw away a low 36 at the last turn forgetting that this car is larger in the rear and spinning putting half a wheel in grass 😞

Hi,

Still crazy busy at work and at home. Managed quite a few laps at the High Speed Ring in the underwhelming unicorn of understeer. Wrestled with it, to get the time down to a low 1:02:2xx. The level of precision required here is incredible! I know all of these time trials are hard to do and even harder to reach anything in the top 1,000 bracket but this is insane IMHO.

That last left hander is driving me around the bend - No pun intended! A millisecond too early or too late on the steering, the brakes or the throttle and the lap is scrap.

As ZJN has, ohhh so eloquently, illustrated above...

2:75% and still outside the top 10,000!

Still... There are a few sessions left to improve. Watch this space as they say in all good car chase movies! 😳

Keep the Bathurst TTs coming! Nailing a lap around here is just more satisfying than any other track.

I'm safe gold for now but suspect it will get a lot tougher!

OMG, I'm almost at silver. This is easier than the TM Reverse and the RBR Group 3 wet trials we had a week ago. I do better with the slower road cars. I had a strong first Sector but the downhill section slowed me down as usual and cost me a little time, drat! Good grief, I wonder what Early_zigzag40's lines are, insane!

I was coasting through the turns and corners and was on a roll until Sectors 2 and 3. Ugh,

However this is the best I've done in any Bathhurst lap challenge.

Anyway, I have good news and bad news. Let's start with the bad news. I don't know how but I dropped out of the gold bracket for the Red Bull Ring time trial, so I was only able to earn 1 million credits. What the hell? What did I do to deserve that? GRRRRRRRR this game stinks like a litter box sometimes. Now for the good news. I beat my brother on the High Speed Ring by a tenth! And I'm second on my friend's lap board! Meow meow meow baby!

I also had a crack at the other 3 time trials with varying levels of success.

Want to talk about a daunting challenge? Well, this time trial has you covered. This will be a hard one for me - perhaps a bridge too far if I'm going to get gold. Still plenty of time left to get the reward though.

This one surprised me the most. I thought I'd get the gold time without too much hassle but I'm just not used to the grip. I raced here in ACC last week and the grip level was lower, so trying to convince myself that the car will stick is hard.

My Cliow saw on @Tidgney 's Youtube channel that gold would stand below 2:33.600. Yes, cows do watch YT!!!!
So, she asked me to go out for a morning ride around Bathurst. She is damned talented to find tenths, isn'it

S1: 24.202 - Still too slow here, 2 or 3 tenths are available
S2: 54.296 - Good but I've already scored below 54.0
S3: 39.340 - Good but many tenths are hidden here
S4: 35.755 - Much better even if I could be more brave

With 33.593, I consider the primary mission as completed. Now, it's time for fun
If I could stick 4 excellent sectors in the same lap, a sub 2:33 could be doable.

Compared WR lap on AMG TT with mine lap. I am usually losing approximately one tenth on pretty much every turn, depending on TT of course. So... Cork Screw whole FOUR tenth ! Shocking!

You could see it as a positive, as 4/10 offers a lot of room for improvement

Edit: meaning focusing only on one specific corner seems easier than multiple areas

I think my silver is safe for now, and yes I will be honest, I used AT for the first time in 2 weeks, but a youtuber named sirdave helped me with his guide. I'm gonna keep pushing for gold. Sorry for the spam (in fact, I'm not really sorry) but another 0.3 shaved with my Cliow at Bathurst.

S1: 24.220 - no comment, I've lost the instructions to score a decent S1...
S2: 54.358 - constant and consistent but a bit slow slow despite an excellent Cutting
S3: 38.931 - my best S3. I was that close to meet Barry R. Better but far from excellent.
S4: 35.789 - constant and consistent but few tenths are still available.

Yes, there are still some tenths (5 minimum) here and there but I've gained 0.483 since this morning and I'm pretty much happy with it.

However... @P-Courty 's post was the much, much bigger offender. You really need to dial it back a bit, imo.
