Hello Diablopug,

Try this...

Go to the time trial. Leaderboard. Then scroll down using the R2(?) button. After several sheets there are times there that meet your requirements.

Hope that helps some.

Regards.

Ian.
I did that last night, was going through loads and couldn't see one with the (video symbol) for a ghost for ages. Found one saved it as a ghost. Was a GTR I think. Wanted to try another car so came out and changed and the loaded ghost has gone. And I can't remember what position the person was to find it again. Probably spent 10+ to scroll through the pages. I'll have another look tonight.

It ends Thursday morning (19th Jan), and you should be fine - leader would need to drop down another 3 tenths to depose your time.
Thanks, much appreciated. Might still have a bash with the WRX to see if I can improve, but happy with my time in the 155 for now!
Anyone got a ghost about 56.6 as I've just hit a wall at 57.1 and somehow can't get past it. The top ghosts just leave me for dust after T1. No point me following them. Not using the WRX ATM, if need be will try tomorrow, but the Audi TT I've got 57.1 but know there is room for improvement. But if could follow a ghost similar time might just get into Gold.
If it's any help, I managed a 57.1 in the Audi TT as well, and couldn't improve from there. I hopped in the 155 and my first lap was a 56.9...

You have mail!

Got a new T300 wheelbase today and I'm 2 too 3 secs off my pb at sardegna in the time trial compared too my old wheelbase, must fit the ball bearings again as not very smooth , needs worn in too no doubt :) just feels so different, will get used too it and pick up speed :) .

Not a fan of this one at all. Not to be too negative but I gotta air my thoughts a little bit at least. No offense to anyone who did enjoy it (we’re all different) but in my opinion it was pretty drab and boring because Gr.4 is too easy to drive, so you get these times with no differences at all, and then to make matters worse it’s on a track that takes less than a minute (!!!) in slow arse Gr.4.

To end on a slightly positive note it was probably marginally better than Gr.4 at Seaside some time back where most people were in the GT-R which I find an absolute pain in the arse to drive, so bad that I did that one in the Viper. WRX at least handles quite decently.

With .923 as an optimal I should’ve kept going but I just couldn’t be arsed. At least entered 55 and .997 is quite a good looking number so I’ll take that here and look forward to what’s coming next, hoping there’s a bit more skill involved.

I've not been able to race for a few days, but glad to see that silver still intact.
Chances of getting my first gold have pretty much gone.... slipped from 3.2X % to 3.5X % and need to find just over quarter of a second.
Tried some laps at lunchtime and just can't do it..... oh well, happy with my first silver!

That's all well and good but there's a daily race this week and a Manufacturer's race next week at that track.
There are many unused tracks in TT they could've chosen from
I believe PD like to keep a link between TT, dailies and the championship races to help drivers familiarize themselves with the circuits being used, instead of throwing three different circuits at them at once.

Yes indeed GP layout AGAIN, I like the track tho, that's not the problem ( i do hate the Cayman because they forgot the brakes  and it has absolutely no balance on under and oversteer imo )
But each time a TT comes a long on a track that i'm not really fun of i learn alot and become faster and most of the time these tracks grow alot on me, thats the reason i want different tracks each time.

Statistics from TT 15, the easiest one so far by a mile.
  • The amount of drivers getting silver or gold (87,764) outnumbers the total participants in TT 14 (Nordschleife in the NSX).
  • It was however really difficult to get bronze (2nd most difficult so far), but only because if you weren't careful, you'd accidentally get a silver or gold.
On a personal front, I didn't manage to go under 56, but 56.058 was good enough for #807 and this TT was the smallest percentage gap I've had to #1 (0.85%) and the smallest percentage gap to #100 (0.36%).

In my idle browsing I had read that this one was pretty easy to gold, so although I don't usually do the time trials I hopped on at 1.30am.

First lap was half a second from gold. Third lap had optimal just at gold (57.1 I think). After trying a few lines and running off track a few times, lap seven was just gold, lap eight was safe gold, and then I got bored. Managed a couple more laps and ended up with a 56.7xx which was apparently 15,xxxth.

Two million credits for 10 minutes' driving. Yep, it was an easy one!

Edit: Apparently my first gold, out of five TTs. Normally I do the first lap, get silver (or if I'm not within 4% right away, give up), and get on with my life as I don't enjoy hotlapping as much as in the GT3 days. That's usually 1m credits for 90 seconds' work; this week it would have been 1m credits for 60 seconds
