I'm a second slower than you, but... I've observed ABS Default vs Weak is largely a personal preference, with each setting calling for a slightly different racing line. At Daytona I could set nearly identical lap times with either one. For me Default required slightly earlier braking, and Weak meant more challenging exits. When I turn CSA on, I almost always opt for ABS Weak, since its instability is mitigated; with CSA and ASM off I often prefer Default.
Another factor I've recently noticed is, with ABS Default "brake in a straight line" is less mandatory. I believe Default more closely mimics real-life ABS systems in consumer cars.

Sorry for the delay, the video hasn't been uploaded yet. I wonder what would happen if I put ABS to default, it may not change anything. See, we're dealing with hard tires. The temperature shouldn't affect anything either.
@bluealpine I'm glad everything worked out for you, the Testarossa wouldn't work with me in Sector 3, it was a nightmare, here's the video guys.
At the first turn (Graham Hill), I should have braked a few seconds sooner and kept my car to the left that way I could have clipped the apex correctly and got a fast exit speed coming from the corner.
T2-4: The turn under the Palmer bridge was fine, but the next turn, I did not clip the corner that well, as shown here which cost me some time. So I'll have to watch someone else's replay and see what line/path they take.
Ok, this section here I was hesitant on when to brake and press on the throttle again, this tells you my PTSD from the invalidated laps(red clock), or should I say the evil clock!!
Same thing happens for T7 and T8, didn't clip both apexes fast enough which could have chopped some of my time off, Dolph does it much differently as I saw in his run last night. Oh, I tried the different triggers last night and this morning and it felt more awkward for me so I switched back to the face buttons for steering/braking.
This turn here was acceptable(my line). And the last bit was okay.

It's a flat-12 but it's not an H12. In fact it's a 180-degree V12.
The term "flat" often catches people out. All it means is that the cylinders (and piston travel) are directly opposite one another and doesn't describe the engine operation itself.
An H ("horizontally opposed", or boxer) has each piston attached to its own crankpin - with opposed pistons both travelling up or down the cylinder simultaneously - whereas vees have two pistons on each crankpin and moving in opposite directions (one down the cylinder while its sibling goes up). The Ferrari is the latter.

I went back to Daytona to test drive more cars and put 3 more of them into the current gold range (1:46:7)
Corvette Gr3 (1:46:246)
Mazda RX Vision (1:46:508)
Renault RS GT3 (1:46:554)
All cars were not driven more than 10 laps each. ABS weak and TCS 1 in all laps, except for the Renault with TCS 0.

It's a start! Still rocking the opt of 36.6 so I have more to go. This is pure joy when I find the rhythm but pure agony when the right tyre nips the tiniest pixel of grass.
Not the strongest in road cars so a top 500 finish is where I'm happy here. Happy lapping folks!

Wow man, you're on fire. You'll need the firefighters to wash you down with water, xD. It's pure agony when I can't find my groove on the track. Off I go to try to polish my lap. Also, got a new PB of 1'43.934. L-shooter's in 4th, hmmmmm. He must be struggling too to find his rhythm on the track.
