Great !!!! I lost the 2 gold medals on Red Bull Ring and Fuji International Speedway!!!! They lowered the times for the gold medals!!!! 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
How can you lose an already rewarded medal? I noticed the times changed but the previous reward wasn't affected

They will likely continue to get lower too...
Yes more and more !!!!!🥵🥵🥵

I managed to be in the gold medal again by lowering my time by 0'310 with the Lambo

Edit : 1'41'308 with Lambo

Ohh. Wait. No need to award me a poo for misunderstanding :P

Well, you can't lose an award if you never received one 🤣
After reading and understanding I read wrong, I stand by it though. Did one run. Got temp silver. Stayed silver until event was over. So I didn't lose any :) either way, my post wasn't meant to be hostile :P

Did another 8 laps in the Alfa to lower my time to a 1:40.241, hopefully that holds.

Thought I'd try Fuji, not a track I have ever enjoyed, although again VR makes it a lot easy to look through the turn to get an idea of where you are and thus the right line etc. especially in the final sector.

Glad to see a variety of cars at the top of the leaderboard for once! I picked the Porsche as I really enjoy driving it, here's my results. I loaded the fastest Porsche ghost to follow as I don't know the track well. Can see there's a lot more time in there but I think that'll hold for now.

I'm curious to try Deep Forest, will be aiming for a silver there I think, which seems doable, but may put some more time into it depending on whether I enjoy driving the car.

Now had a few laps on all three, and have bronze in all - exactly one second off silver at RBR! Fingers crossed.
I'm chuffed that TT is being made a bit more prominent in GT7. Also a bit surprised - there are millions of copies of the game out there, but generally only about 100,000 or so show up for the TTs.
I am glad to see, that I am not the only one here, that is far away from gold...

So far I did a very tight silver in Fuji( but with potential to improve that time, 1 second better is possible, so silver should be it...) and bronze at RBR and the Olympic TT...silver at RBR should be possible, but not on the Olympic TT...

I don’t know what it is, put me in a slow car and I’m fast, put me in a really fast car and I’m fast, but put me in a fast car with the wrong tires and I struggle in GT7. Yet that’s exactly what I track drive IRL. Got Gold pretty quick but struggling for that 39.

This type of garbage doesn’t help of course. Somehow these are track limit penalties: (Me)

2 of the replays non-penalties are the same corner as my 2.

I was really stressing over the Olympic trial until I came here and saw a screenshot with a silver time under 3%. I didn't realize they set the gold to be within 1.5% of the fastest. No way I'm getting that done so moving on and wasting no more time. Fastest I ever manage in these is about 2.3%.

PD track limits are remain unknown, are well hidden between the kerbs and white lines and are in disguise .
Make their appearance mostly when you're trying to go fast no matter what car you drive or how many pp is.

I have run couple of hundred times at la Sarthe and always moving left- right , up and down and vice versa .

The oups you get your self a 0.500 penalty, become my best friend when am trying for best lap time 😒

Did 1000kms yesterday. 😄😄
Did about 700km today. I and about 500 of those I didn't even complete a single lap... Either because of the massive oversteer the car has or because of the very strict track limits, which btw I'm really not against it.
For me, all track limits should be this white line so we don't have people abusing the kerbs, especially ones like in Red Bull Ring and Dragon Trail Gardens (last TT with the Radical).
1:16.5 in the Olympic event, I don't think I can go much lower on a gamepad.
It's possible my friend, but yeah, we have to put in the effort.

Here's my overall time and sector times, missed hitting the kerb on sector 2 on the long left hander before the braking zone into the corner before back straight.
I'm afraid however, that the aliens and world tour players are participating in this and will not hold back any punches, so if I really want that gold, I'll have to aim for a 1:15.9xx or below that.

Thank you @Jeje6410 for your advice on Deep Forest time trial.
It's very much appreciated and would be so much helpful if it wasn't for the fact that I am completely unable to drive with manual transmission.
I drive always with AT, so I'm at the mercy of whatever the gear is chosen for me at the given speed. It is my weakness, I know. Maybe someday, when I learn to drive a wheel it will be easier.

Hi guys just wondering if you could give me some advice. The game won’t let me put in times in the TT Fuji and in the TT olympic. the TT in the RBR ring works fine somehow and I set a 1.40.0 after some laps. I can drive laps and set times but it won’t ‘register’ them.

Now what I see is that the laptimer in the upper middle of my screen is somehow red instead of the usual white. This is the giveaway that something is wrong. But I can’t determine why this is?

Here is a quick clip of what I’m experiencing:

Thanks so much in advance!

The timer turning red means you've exceeded the track limit and therefore your lap time is invalidated.

Managed to improve my Fuji time this morning (a track that I have a hate-hate relationship with), so I’m currently sitting at:

Olympics: 1:17.503 / 3.43% - don’t see me going back to this one. No chance of gold, just in it for the money!
Fuji: 1:40.821 / 2.13%
RBR: 1:39.942 / 2.31%

Hopefully the gold times stick and there is Cr.6M sitting across there waiting…

Managed to get a 1:41:4 at the RBR within 3 laps, think there’s another half a second or so out there easily attainable but think gold is beyond my limited abilities unfortunately! Enjoying the Alfa a lot more than the Radical in the last one though, it’s a nice novelty to not have to worry about the kerbs sending you into orbit!

Thanks, I’ll need to try this! So weird though because usually it’ll give you a time penalty and warning that you’ve exceeded track limits? Is that part of the new update?
Or clipped a barrier. As I found out.
Thanks. Sounds explainable. I’ll need to try again to see if this is the issue. Thanks!

we’re not all aliens here - i’d be happy with 3 silvers - 2/3 at the moment
