I just did 1:18.473 with controller in the Olympics time trial, with silver cut-off being 1:18.524 right now. I'm shaking so hard right now as if I had 3 straight shots of expresso. :P

Praying hard that I don't get pushed into bronze! I usually get silver or bronze in time trials. In case anyone is interested in my settings, the car setting was all default. Brake trigger haptics turned off. Throttle trigger haptic set to weak. TC set to 2. I lost most of my time in wheel-spins but TC3 totally kills my exits.

Here’s my lap from the Red Bull Ring TT. I did my overall best time in the first and second sectors, but ended up being too conservative in the last one. Well I think it was not that bad giving the fact that I only had two and half days to lap the circuit since I arrived from Prague.

Good luck to everyone who’s giving it all at the Olympics!

You are on my friends list, are you a manual or auto user?

With manual basically exit everything in fourth on auto brake harder earlier but keep flicking the accelerator to keep it in 2nd or 3rd.

Use counter steer assist. This isn't a competition out our level we just want decent times and the money.

Also on the down hill right go slower but power up to the left right sweepers. The last 2 corners take in fourth and coast making sure you really late apex the first of them.

The last corner you need to brake early enough to power on at the apex
Thank you very much...that would have helped a lot, but came a little too late

You see, made better time... The car is nice to drive. I dont know where is the gold, have you now? If not try a little more...

In W-GT 51 made 1,16.7**... If the super guys of olimpic come to this TT, maybe not get gold

That wicked car isn’t fun to drive but I really like Grand Valley in VR. I managed to get relatively safely in the gold zone after 100 km. I’ve never been a fan of tuning TTs but I feel like different gear ratios would’ve made this TT much more enjoyable.

Typical! Jumped onto my alt to run a few laps and thought I'd throw in some laps in the Toyota at Deep Forest. After 3 laps I'd gone 0.6s faster than my main account! 1:17.7XX... 🤪

Then onto Fuji in the RX-VISION and only just missed beating my RCZ time by 0.007!
If you made silver in Deep Forest you can make gold in Fuji - the gold are now 1.41,672, if you have 900 you are near,,, my replay have 1.40,586 and count 30km... it was already trained on the other cars, use it.

You guys that are at the edge of gold 🥇 in Olympic event, or getting the gold... Just out of curiosity, since I can sometimes drive many laps or Kilometers.... How many Km (laps/hours) you are putting into it?

I did maybe four or five sessions of 75 to 100 miles over the long weekend. On Monday reviewed some top laps to see why I was losing so much time in sector one. Tried to fix that on Tuesday with a session of about 100 miles. Then a big push on Wednesday with over 500 miles. I had improved sector one but couldn't string three together. Yesterday maybe 250 miles before I got to 1:15.760.

This was / is a tough one. Just hope I don't slip into silver; they'd have to go to 1:14.640 though.

How do you find so much time to put that much distance in?! I'm lucky if I can do a 60 mile session, usually more like 25-30.

No kids and a flexible work arrangement. And (and I don't mean this facetiously) just good planning and staying busy for the 16 non-sleeping hours. Over the weekend I still managed to have friends around for a long lunch, spent most of Sunday gardening and wood working and got out for long walks with the wife each day.

I don't usually spend this much time on the game, but don't want to lose my gold streak so just made time. I will obviously lose the streak at some point with being away on holiday, but don't want to lose it for lack of trying. On the Red Bull ring one I only did about 150 miles; same for Fuji, although I might go back to try for a better time there.

Good on you for making the time and planning it effectively. I have a 2-yr old who soaks up most of my weekends and a busy job which soaks up most of my week (more than the usual 40-hr week usually!).

Guys, don't freak out but....

... I'm P1!!!! :gtpflag:

With a DualSense 🤯🤯🤯
I've been waiting for this to happen! When I set my time I went looking for your name and I think you were 4/5/6th at the time - congrats on improving to number 1! What's the secret for this one then?? :D Do you think there's much more time in the lap...?

I was right... it does suit me. 1:16.139 and at the moment 42nd place. Going for more...

Glad you posted your lap, watched it at work just now, and i had a real Aaaahhhhaaaaa moment...
You never went to second!, that will save me some real time!, cause i revved the **** out of second in my (realy bad ) gold lap :)
