You are right, there is no steering force feedback on Dualsense, I can check exactly how they are named when I get home from work but there is (whatever name it is, you know many of use use this forum and express themselves even if english is not our native language) a sensitivity when for example you are driving over curbs how strongly Dualsense vibrates, and there is also a seting for feedback (resistance?) under accelerator and brake (pedals) L2/R2 , which you can also adjust and then feel how strongly it takes (presses/resists?), or weak, if you adjust those settings.

To get back on topic... concluded the N24 TT with 8:11something. Really wanted to push more and go for 8:10 but I couldn't put in as many sessions as I wanted. Nonetheless, top 500 ranking must be my best yet.

SF23 Autopolis unexpectadly suits me pretty well and I got pretty early into gold. Atm 3/10 below gold cutoff, but I wouldn't mind going back to this fun combo. Shortshifting out of slow corners and lifting off throttle ever so slightly to prevent spinning out while going over curbs was the key for me here.

Fugu Z TT... really don't know how to feel about this one. First session yesterday secured silver but with zero consistency. Struggled today and barely got into gold after thinking I found a decent line, but nope: directly lost .5s in T1 the following lap. The car doesn't give much feedback and feels like floating on marshmallows, is also very sensitive to overdriving, making it a real challenge to get consistent. This is the hardest and least enjoyavble TT in a road car to gold for me, but maybe the combo will click if I keep at it. So far only about 300km in this one.

Managed a 1:16.668 in the fugu, finding it really tough to be consistently fast in this car, just too easy to brake a little too hard or be too aggressive on the throttle and drop tenths. Lots of fun, but overall too much sand for me!

Aah I understand, I thought maby there is a difference in PAD setting on PS5, but think its the same, I think you mean the Force Feedback max torque and sensitivity for the Force feedback?, so you got 3 settings

-Controller sensitivity
-Force Feedback max Torque
-Force Feedback sensitivity

I think the 2 and 3th option only apply to wheel users?

Lots of fun and addictive time trial combos recently and the new one at Willow Springs is no exception. I've never even tried this (quite technical) layout before so it took some time to get a decent time but after some practice yesterday and a longer session today set my PB at 1:15.397 which put me 11th in the world. Interesting to see what the final times will be.

2 good points here:

• I must work on the 1st sector which is clearly my weak point with 0:19:xxx in average.
• still few days to gain now 0:459 to secure a silver score.

Man this Willow TT is frustrating - really hard to be consistent and the tenths just bleed away really quickly. Managed to get down to. 1:16.99 but will need another session to tray and sneak a gold. After that, if I never see this track again, that’s ok by me 😂

　- There have been cases wherein the notification message screen for receiving the in-game Credit reward for beating an Online Time Trial's target time would not be displayed. Please note that if this occurs, the in-game Credits will still be correctly awarded to the eligible players.

It might be a wheel thing, it's quite easy to be precise with the wheel. I'm sticking with TC2 as well, it doesn't cost me much time but if I do get greedy with the throttle it doesn't lead to a 1080 degree fun circle! (most of the time). I'm away for a few days from this evening so might not be able to get much time in sadly, I definitely need to improve my Greddy time as that is definitely not safe!

I can't see the Super Formula time going down as these guys are pretty much flat out and there are no mysteries in how to make time in that car.

I do indeed think that the wheel has an advantage here on Autopolis, but there a lot of PAD users with insane times, just not me this time haha, so i have no excuse, just don't like it , glad to hear that MABY my time will stick, god i hope so.

I think you should indeed put some time in the Greddy, as i mentioned before, this one prob. suits you well, i hope to find some time again between work and kitten parenting, this morning tried it, but the damn furry bastards were ALL over the place, running around, on me, so called it a day for the focus haha., but ik think if i can find time maby i can get into the 15's, for you no doubt no problem!

This last TT is way more tricky than expected.
I abandoned the Autopolis one quite early after securing a bronze to dedicate to this.
In my best whises I saw it similar to the Grand Valley one, where I have been for a while (sigh) in gold territory, but then crashed hardly against reality....
lot of blind turns
lot of understeer
lot of weigh transfer
lot of sand
that trail braking infinite left hander and the subsequent S-es

I'm not even close to silver.
The good news is that I feel that understanding couple of turns will result in huge improvements (coming from my current time)
Bad news is that I'm not sure how much time I will need to understand

On a side note: I always get mad in seeing replays from the good ones. Everything is so smooth. They don't seem to be affected by any of weight transfer. They choose where to put the car. They brake later than me, but still make the apex and open when I'm still assessing if I make it with the racing line. Wow, it's crazy how good they are.

I had a quick session earlier just to try and beat @Gomario JSP ’s time to motivate hi to jump on his Nokia 3310 setup and setup a crazy time on his megadrive controller! New PB set god it’s fun when you get it right but when you get it wrong… sandier than Sandy Lyle in a bunker on a beach golf course! The very next lap I was 0.3s up in sector one, finally nailed it and whilst busy congratulating myself COMPLETELY TURNED THE WRONG WAY ON THE BACK STRAIGHT!! How does my brain even do that?? There are cones!! @Mistah_MCA trademark corner markers may need to make another appearance until I actually know which way I’m going

Well, I've noticed Jeddah is going for another go as long as I get 1-2 tenths near him. So he's either going to stop when I and Doodle stop (unlikely) or he'll keep going 😅

Or is this TT an outlier because of how hard to control the car is? Can you tell me your Autopolis SF23 time and the Olympics time if you can remember?


I may have to practice some more really. I thought I was pretty decent at using a pad but when I see someone else basically rivaling or besting even the top-tier wheel users, it actually gives me enough incentive to get better, and it also makes me look pretty damn average.
